The difference is that he returns the same game. As it is now, if your player is injured after 2. min. in the 1.quarter. He is gone for the rest of the 46min. With this doctor, he could return at the start of the 2. quarter.

I already have a doctor with taping injuries, I just wanted to know what the "small chance" part of the rules actually equated to. I think it's been answered in a different thread anyway, but thanks for the reply.

it is as you say a small chance... so do not expect it to happen frequently.

the level of your doktor will kick in when an injury-events happens. The level will help decide if there realy is an injury, and if so how long (remainder of game, or x weeks).

But also, if your doktor has taping, you also get a roll of dice to see if your player can start playing the next quarter or not.

It is a personal opinion, but I think people are spending more money on the staff specialities then they are worth.

here is what BB-Charles said about the topic: (54829.4)

Personally, I decided I needed an upgrade on my doctor and thought I would see if I could get one with a speciality. Lv4 + taping injuries - $38k. I didn't think that was too bad, especially considering I'm pretty financially comfortable at the moment. I may regret it if I get relegated in a few wks, which seems like a scarily real possibility! Still, with the subsequent drop in season ticket holders but the reduction in the kneecapping on home income, I think I'll be ok either way.

Is the 'k' in 'doktor' a personal choice or some global forum thing I've missed? Lol

In my mothertongue it is 'dokter' which probably is why I keep making this error.
