I partly agree with you, I think there should be an option to train passing at some of the inside positions, and another option for training OD. But it would also be okay that OD or PA would be a strong secondary in some training. But overall I'm quite happy with the system.

whyis it hard to train on such positions

the nba doesnt have much passing big men but in europe you can see a lot, as well as center who can shoot 3's even with accuracy not losing to guards

Ha... you got me!!

However, with the recent slowdown in training speed I estimate I will need at least another 4-5 weeks of OD training and 3-4 Passing... so maybe I should delete this post and reopen again half way through next season??!!

the fact is that there are some skills more important than other
a player with wonderous handling and driving but without jump shot it's a great player in the playgounds, but he cannot play basketball at high level
and if you want a center who is great in passing skill, you can buy it,but surely if Yao Ming passes very bad it isn't a big problem, you can prefer a center with better passing skill and with a little bit of jump shot but with worse primary skill(i.e. a player as Biedrins or Bogut). These are choice, and you had also to be able to equilibrate your team

About passing,i think next season i'm going to train it a little, because i think that is a primary skill for my Pg and useful for my players

The question is only if a player could train all the skill which we can consider primary in his role

I like training the way it is. I wouldn't like if training becomes easier than it is now.

The only missing training option is, for me, a specific defense for SF, which trains both OD and ID at a decent rate (i.e. similar to the JS for forwards).

Tell that to Jason Kidd. Or Muggsy Bogues. Or Bob Cousy. I could go on.

And Yao Ming is an excellent passer.

hey mate,

kidd shooting went down only when he suffered a injury and came back, he never recovered to 100% probably with age already if im not mistaken its antroscopic knee surgery.

i cant imagine you could say such a thing because if you saw how he led the nets to the finals :D

also if you saw the hornets practice when bougues was their leading pg you would be shock he could hit 10 3's in a row :D

Dude, I have been watching Jason Kidd play since he was a sophomore at St. Joseph's High School in Alameda, California. He is a verified bricklayer.

Bogues had one season where he shot over 30% from behind the arc.
