Injuries are pretty random. You could have a really bad luck. I would suggest a doctor and massage to deal with game shape anyway and more just in case injury happens. But you can't really protect yourself against losing your best players for key matches.

Remember you will get 3 new players via draft soon, so don't let your roster to be overcrowded. I think 9 is doable but kind of risky. After all it still depends on the players and how balanced your team is. And of course on your ambition.

He keeps his player's minutes between 48 and 75 where possible.

Don't train game shape unless the very rare occasion where it could be a deciding factor in a very close game you must win at all cost and you don't matter about anything else. Be aware that game shape is reset at the start of new season.

does it really affect the players form when they go beyond 48 minutes of playing time, what are the side effects of that? im having trouble when i used my reserves for the next game and eventually lost.. so im using my first five frequently to stay in the game and to keep winning even though they are above playing time.. should i continue this?

Up tp 72 minutes a week shouldn't have a negative effect on their game shape. You will only lose a number of training minutes for that position.

55-60 would be optimal for the form, actually i try to give my man betwenn 45 and 70 minutes.
