The player goes on sale

When a team goes bot

if the team was already bot when the player got selected for NT, nothing will happen.

Players from bot teams can't be selected in the first place.

I think there is a bit of confusion (mostly on my part, but other newer managers as well) as to the difference between a bot and a managerless team. I have made this mistake in another post as well. I refered to a team whose manager had not logged on for a couple of months and then was replaced by a new manager with all new players as a 'bot'. I now believe this is incorrect (based on an unrelated post) but if someone has a minute can they define the difference between a bot and what I described above?

Thanks

This made me wonder - what if that player would be already on TL (when his team botifies) with no bid - let say with a ridiculously high price for example. As this auction could end ass soon as few minutes after his team would gone bot, will such a player hit transfer list again? This is a moot question, no specific case in mind.

Of course it is highly unlikely that the team would become bot for inactivity, but there are other reasons creating similar situation.

You cannot have both ~5 weeks of inactivity _and_ a player on the TL at the same time, so this case will never occur.

How about transfer listing the player and then getting banned. Is that a possibility?

A ban does not botify the team immediately, the normal inactivity rule still applies.
