Well-known, here's one example thread in here on the same topic: (10189.1)

Buzzerbeater uses the NBA rules except when it doesn't. For technical fouls, it doesn't.

Really? Any particular reason this case is an exception? I can't think of any, specially when the goal is to keep the game as real as possible, either it's NBA or FIBA rules. I wouldn't expect coherence issues in the game...

I've read the thread you pointed which in fact adresses a similar situation, and someone responded with an excerpt of NBA's oficial site rules but i didn't understand how that cleared the question. imo it only confirms the problem. Strangely the thread creator seemed to be satisfied with that non-response...

Anyway, if this is indeed a deliberate exception rule and no bug i would appreciate that someone could explain why is that so and if there is any Buzzerbeater's specific Rules Book or Rule Exceptions Book that i can consult, in order to avoid reporting false bugs.

Here are the NBA differences I know of off the top of my head. Maybe I'll search the forum for more later. I feel like I'm forgetting some.

- Technical fouls are completely different.
- Team fouls under 2 minutes aren't treated specially.
- Team fouls aren't reset in overtime.
- Offensive fouls counted in team fouls: (54276.3)
- Shot clock is reset to 24 on a non-shooting frontcourt foul (although the match viewer resets to 14, and so sometimes will sit on 0 for up to 10 seconds).

Pretty sure the powers-that-be treat these as bugs, but I think they're very low priority to address.
