So let me begin....

Firstly, let me say that although my team, Burntisland Fire, play in the USA league (conference finalists in Div II.1), I'm actually a Scotsman and I live in Fife (of all places). Guess the town. ;-) I've actually lived in San Diego in the past and I've been playing BB for over 5 seasons and my performance hasn't been too shabby. ;-)

So, this vote is for a 2 season term. A term which has got to be concentrated on development (i.e. experience) of great young Scottish players for S.Bock (who I plan to work closely with) and the senior team and also to get the youth team up to a national ranking that we deserve. I'm definitely the man for the job and am determined to put a lot of time and effort into it. I will work hand in hand with all of the Scottish managers to make sure we have the top players strutting their stuff at the highest level.

Let me just talk in reference to the current set-up. There has been no creativity or ingenuity in tactics over the past 2 seasons and there is no real excuse for that. I plan to change that by thorough research into upcoming matches and if you look at my past club games, you'll see that because of my tactical research, my team has consistently over-achieved. Our current national ranking is poor (69, ;-0) and we've got to aim for the top 40 in the long run. (at least above England at 52!)

This will be my first national team management job but one that I am more than prepared for. Many of my BB mates are some of the top managers in the game and my rival is actually BB-Charles. I feel that with a mixture of my vast experience and the willingness consider everyone's advice/opinion, Scotland u21s will go from strength to strength.

What can say to finish?

Vote for Calum and you'll get an absurdly active u21 manager that will take our u21s to the next level and get us up those rankings!

Vote for Calum!

well, to make it an interesting election, there should be at least two candidates i guess.

and to keep it interesting, i won't bore you readers with as much text as the reputable Calum... ;-)

so just the facts about the situation...:

=> the cooperation of the previous u21-coach with the nt-coach wasn't good

=> the scottish u21 wasn't performing well in the past

=> there is potential to do way better

...and about me:

=> i'm an experienced bb-user

=> i worked with your current nt-coach s.bock in the past to improve the nt and learned, that with a good coach small nations can be very successful

=> i'm not scottish. so if you want one of your fellow countrymen to become coach (what i would absolutely understand), don't vote for me

i hope a lot of scottish users become interested in this election, because in this case literally one vote can make the difference :-)

hello, my name is tobi and i´m also going to candidate as you u21 coach. here is a short introduction of what i want to do:
maybe you´ll know me as one of your german nt-scouts. i´ve been playing buzzerbeater since the beginning of season 5. i´ve started this game because basketball is my passion since i was 3 years old.
with my own team i couldn´t manage to get up to league 3 so far because of the excellent opponents i´ve always had, but i wouldn´t say that i was unsuccesful.
my team has played in the same tactical way most of the time. this was only because i didn´t have many alternatives in my roster but íf i became coach of your u21-nt i´d be a lot more flexible with the tactics and wouldn´t be afraid of risking something for being succesful. my aim is to bring your team into top 55 in bb-world.

i promise you to do a solid job and get the best out of your team. be sure that i´ll communicate a lot with the senior´s coach for preparing your players for the nt and also with each of you scotish managers trying to do what you want to see.

so, if you liked what you´ve just read, easily vote for tobi112 ;)
