On what position, PF or SF?
no matter which.
as I like multiskilled players I too have some centers and PFs with decent other skills then their inside skills. My centers with decent jump range made more then a few 3-pointers each season (even at times I didn't play princeton)
many centers have bad outside defense, which means that if your center has good jumprange, he is likely to sink some 3 pointers.
this might change with the game engine changes that zone defenses work more then they should and the shots aren't always calculated as man-to man anymore in the future...
but for now, it surely works.
if you field him as SF, chances are that the opposing SF has better OD, so he might miss more 3 pointers then when you play him PF. It actually depends a lot on your opponent's SF and PF outside defenses...
I think princeton is a tactic which is great when you can field players with both high jumprange, and inside shot, and driving, but low jump shot at all positions.
But due to the fact many many managers like to train jumpshot, it's mostly the other way around, since princeton tries to avoid jumpshots a lot, and this means your players won't use that skill too much...
hope this helps
They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
