Wow, I would love to see that happen with my staff... Did you by any chance bid on new staff last week, and maybe won the auction without being aware of it? You should be able to tell that from your economics page.

Maybe there is limit for salaries of each level staff? For example 16500 is limit for this 4 level PR manager, and then salary is being cut off for 2000.

Yes I did but ive done that a couple of times and never had that where their salary went backwards.

Well, untill the next finacial update (Monday mornings) the salary of your old staff member will be shown as "last week's" and the new one's as "this week's". So my guess is your old PR guy made 16k a week, but I might be wrong about that.

No my old pr guy made 23 a week thats why i canned him.

Kozlodoev has is right. Recently-fired staff reduce their salary demands before they re-enter the market in order to increase their chances of getting hired.
