the chanche is very low, normally injured occurs longer then expected and the influence from the doctor on the healing time is pretty low.
But once a player of me healed one week in 5 days(it was a two week injurie, and he need 8 days to fall to one week and additional 5 to get healthy)
So if it really one week, i wouldn't count with him(i expect he have more time, but your descriiton of the time is a bit conflicting)
