it's automatic, in this season you have no influence on the income(ok a bit on merchandise through a PR manager).

For next season maybe you could read the news for this season, which probadly gives the best explanation of it

Please use the HELP forums for things like this in the future.

Looks like you've just joined so i'm guessing you just haven't had your economic updates yet (usually on a monday) which is when you'll get your weekly economic reports including merch and tv money.
