Now, let's review what Rob said:

I think DMI could be useful for working out a players sublevel of game shape.

yes! I am doing the same thing Rob does. Thanks for repeating what i have said. My point was that it is NOT tough to get a pretty good idea of the sublevel!!!

In your example, obviously his sublevel dropped. How high of a strong was it before? How high is it now?

think a little furhter or try it yourself. On your own team u have got obviously much more informations then just 2 weeks of training. After having done it some more times, u will get many informations, which will help u figuring out the sublevel pretty easy.

Rob and I probably dont care if the form is 8.26 or if its 8.34. (I would agree that 'THIS would be tough) However I believe this is not very important but it is important to know, if the form is 7.6 rather then 8.0 or if it is 8.4 instead of 8.1. And this is pretty easy to figure out...

Btw dont think we are getting anywhere with this discussion, I will stop here. I believe it is easy, u think it is tough (I havent convinced u probably). Everyone who read this thread can make his own decision, if he thinks DMI helps figuring out the sublevel or if he thinks it is too tough.

All I'm going to say that it's very hard to do so, with so many other variables in DMI.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

ok i have tried to stop but since it might help somebody to use the DMI on his own, one last statement. ^^
those variables do not change, they are constant, therefore they are not needed to figure out sublevel
(unless u train the player, then those variables wont be constant anymore, however after a few weeks everyone will get at least a rough idea how much the DMI increaseses with training)

Other than for ensuring that training did occur, DMI is pretty much useless and isn't reliable for anything.

It's not called Deliberately Meaningless Index because someone was bored.
