Yes, I understand the training limits in this game. What I don't understand is why people think Rodman and Barkley are smaill? Rodman is 6'8" with a 7'+ wing span. That's tall, even in the NBA. Barkely was listed at 6'6". But he also has an above average wing span and he was extremely strong and wide. He averaged 11.7 rebounds a game but only led the league once. Again, he's really not short, but his toughness was able to compensate in competing with the taller players. Moses Malone was a great rebounder also. Not short. Michael Jordan had arguably the best skill set and he is 6'6", yet his career rebounding average is only 6. If Michael Jordan had been 6'10", I'd bet that he would have had more rebounds.

Average height for their position can be tall for a PF or C. But it's definitely not short.
