That is not technically correct. He will make a fine SF. At the very least I will have him defend at SF due to his ability to defend both inside and outside.
I never said he would not make a fine SF. What I said was "I think he would be more beneficial to be trained in OD, handling and passing until he caps as his JS and JR are good enough for PG but will have weaknesses against other SGs in higher divisions"
Star potential limits his ability to become a top level player as far as an all round package (which is vital as a SF) goes in higher divisions should promotion be the goal (which would be pointless playing if it wasn't). I believe that while this team is still in the building stage, a trainee with his skills and relatively low potential would be perfect to train as a PG who is purely OD, handling and passing. With his JS and ID could even still be played as a SF when needed, but would be more effective in the longterm trained to get the most of his low potential cap.
