Homers don't know basketball. They only see it through their homer lens glasses. Boozer is still but. Maybe he should try "Spray on Game" instead of "Spray on Hair".

edit - It doesn't matter how many times you say it. How loud you say it. Or if you say it last. It doesn't make it true.

The Ramon Sessions deal was great for the Lakers. He should upgrade the PG play by a lot, and getting rid of Walton's contract and Kapono's dead weight is almost better. I would also have liked to see them follow through on the trade for Beasley, but you can't get everything, even if you're the Lakers...

I'm actually interested to see how some of the post-deadline cuts and buyouts work out.

Does anybody actually want to sign Derek Fisher?

Two years ago both JJ Hickson and Terrence Williams were exciting prospects, can they get anybody excited about picking them up now? (I'd actually like to see the Lakers give Williams a rest-of-season contract. He can't shoot, but they should see if his defense and passing from the SF spot can break into the rotation).

Is Ronny Turiaf headed to Miami? Does it matter?

What I mean by that is acting like he wants to stay but really knows he is going to leave.

If d.fish signs another contract with LA and returns with the traded players I would rejoice. But, a man can dream right????

I'm not trying to crush your dream, but he can't sign back with the Lakers this season. The rules in the new CBA prevent it.

All things aside, I maintain Denver had one of the better deals. Nene was re-signed at way too high of a cost, the guy barely rebounds for his height, and the offensive production he provides they have gotten from Koufas, Mozgov, and Farried all in the same stretch of minutes given the chance, only all 3 of those guys played better defense. Meanwhile, when Gallinari was hurt, they hurt bad at the SF position, Korey Brewer was not the solid answer as an every minute player, if he was Minnesota would have been in better shape when they had him, and Andre Miller is a PG, and playing him at the SF was just a weird experiment to witness. Now with Chandler, and Gallinari healthy again, they have 2 solid options there, and even more depth on a pretty deep team, also now, they're able to keep Miller in the backcourt where he belongs. Maybe Rudy Fernandez can mix around a bit, but Miller's a bit shorter, and a bit older.

I'm glad this guy is currently playing basketball. He must have a vastly superior knowledge of the game. How else could he still be playing in the NBA. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Javale Mcgee.

Anyone who has him on their team, Loses.

McGee is a more efficient, better defensive Center than Deandre Jordan, and he did it on a crappier team, without having the likes of a blake griffin coming for helpside D.

1) Lakers getting Sessions.
2) Portland blowing it up.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
