My opinion... FCP is really really good against low passing / low offensive flow teams.
Extremely underrated! And even if the opponent has decent offensive flow... can be used successfully to wear down teams without much depth or stamina.
But FCP isn't as effective in the highest divisions when teams have
strong or higher handling. Even if they don't have depth.
Here's a recent example:
(45876864)I have a very deep team. (some league games i have 11 players getting minutes!)
This game I used 10 players. While my opponent used only 5 players the entire game! Yet after the first quarter, he dominated. Now, his offensive flow was
strong (high). So that's higher than most teams I face, even in the NBBA. (FCP wouldn't be as bad against other NBBA teams). And he probably had higher enthusiasm too.
Oddly, for some reason I had 23 turnovers myself!?! (twice as many as i usually do). If not for that it would have been ok.
Anyway, I had beat them earlier in the season, when they had more players and a better team:
(42756528). So FCP definitely hurt my performance.
Still... I held them to 84 points with FCP. And a 10 point first quarter!
I doubt a 2-3 zone would hold them to under 84 points! (remember i'm on the road & low enthusiasm)
Personally I doubt I'd use FCP in an NBBA game that I needed to win. But I wouldn't use 2-3 zone either. And only rarely use 1-3-1 zone.
