Game 3 recaps

Two O's in Goose at Michigan Blasters
The cheering crowd of 7562 at the Michigan Arena had the Blasters playing their bast from the first quarter. The Goose Os couldn't find the answer until the second quarter which put them at a 9 point deficit. They kept it close hoping they could get the momentum to swing ahead later in the game, but their hopes were dashed as the Blasters poured it on harder in the 4th to wrap up the game.

San Jose Sharks at Tachenko

Coming from a close win in the cup, Tachenko was determined to win by a larger margin in his next league game, so that the 8368 fans at the Las jugadas imposibles would not get nervous about this season 20 team, and they did just that. With about 6 minutes on the clock, Tachenko felt secure enough with the lead that he sent in the bench. Thanks to a tough beginning schedule, the San Jose Sharks go back home 0 and 3.

astral weeks at Royal Challengers

Questions have been circling about #1 predicted team astral weeks since some big moves on the transfer market, and also a tough Cup draw. Would they sacrifice this game to save the starters for the cup? Is he sacrificing the season by selling the best players? Some questions were answered tonight at the Eden Gardens during a fast paced Push the Ball game. Astral weeks seemed to be giving it a little more effort than the Challengers but when astral weeks' star, Arkady Mokhnatkin, fouled out, the Challengers who are playing phenomenal basketball as of late pulled out a close one in front of 12878 fans.

The Lumberjacks showed their resolved by continuing to play better every minute that went by, and pulled it out by ten points.

The Wadsworth Grizzlies speak of relegating due to dwindling finances, but still manages to sport a good team. Unfortunately Bobcats4life finances a better team, and showed that by beating the Grizzlies in front of 9542 at Saint Cats .

Match of the Night
BuckNuts at Big City Enforcers

In a game featuring, two recent D.IV champions seek to prove which one of them deserve to be in D.III. Though BuckNuts put less into the match, His players didn't show that fact. These game recaps were done in the exact same style of Fella from season 15. Unfortunately, I found this style to take a painstakingly long time to write up, and it was more or less just summarizing the Box scores of games, which I found very limiting. The next recaps will be done in a different style, and we shall see how that works out.

Michigan Blasters at Wadsworth Grizzlies
The Blaster's win keeps them in contention with the other big dogs of the Great 8, however, the Blasters still have to face the 3 others in the top 4. That's when they can prove their worth.

The Grizzlies loss coincides with Zster007's apparent desire to relegate. This team stays winless until Zster007 decides to change his strategy, if he does.

Big City Enforcers at San Jose Sharks
In a match between two winless teams one was bound to come out with a win. The Enforcers broke their losing streak and hopes to keep pulling some wins out to keep their head above water.

The Sharks start the season without a win after making the playoffs last season. It could just be bad luck, or perhaps they have joined the Grizzlies on their plan to tank the season.

Barbarian Marauders at Rogues

The Marauders keep their winning streak alive and remain undefeated by beating the Rogues on the road. Can they really keep this up? They will have a harder time without Gavin.

The "All-American" Rogues come out with a tough loss but at sitting 2-2. With a seemingly easier couple of games to come, the Rogues are an early playoff contender.

Bobcats4life at astral weeks

Bobcats4life suffer their first lost this week, but if you banked on this team leading the Big 8, don't start freaking out now. They will have another time to prove themselves when the play the Royal Challengers.

Astral weeks are an anomaly. Some times they win, sometimes they lose, and its not very predictable. One thing is for sure, they are strong and cannot be ruled out.

Tachenko at San Diego Eagles

The San Diego Eagles pull out a surprise win against Tachenko. This promotee wants to show that he means business after their devastating loss on Saturday.

Tachenko takes his second loss of the season, but this loss didn't have anything to do with sacrificing for the Cup. Is Tachenko losing his touch?

Hayward Lumberjacks at Two O's in Goose on TV

The Lumberjacks are another promotee that is making waves this season, and joins three others in the the Great 8 with a 3 - 1 record. Just like the Blasters, they have to face the 3 others in the top 4 of the Great 8.

The Goose O's may unknowingly be giving the Grizzlies a run for their money in regards to relegating out of the league. There is still 18 games in the season, things may turn around.

Royal Challengers at Pope and Cardinals
In another unexpected outcome, the Challengers, lose for the first time of the season to the Pope and Cardinals. It goes to prove you can't take any game for granted in III.3

Pope and Cardinals can handle their own when it comes to the court. Their 1-2 record made them look week, but they started with a tough schedule that should get a little easier this week.

Hansen at BuckNuts

Hansen may have sacrificed some games to build enthusiasm, but it starts to pay of when it keeps piling up. Will they continue to TIE all season?

BuckNuts has no Cup games to distract his leagues games. He just needs to cash in on his opportunities when they arise.

I'm liking this style as well, instead of just talking about the box score, this is more about an analysis of different teams! keep it up!
