We need the BBs to move the deadline. At least two weeks earlier. This is getting way out of hand. We need to push it two weeks early. Who's with me?

I am not in favour of moving trade deadline.

At the end of the season it is nice to see the matchups and have some margin to tweek your team to adapt for your matchups. Taking away that option just because some people overuse it seems unfair.

Rather than moving the deadline drop GS to 1 (or 3 or drop it 2 levels, it's debatable). This will limit day-/weektrading and adress the rent a player issue aswell. This could be the player fit in time and is fixable with good minute management. It also gives the other teams time to adjust to the new opponent addition.

I like this idea. I would also Like to see a Transfer Deadline for the CUP..maybe right before the cup gets down to 8 teams. It's the same every season...Rent a beast=CUP winner

Well, what about this; We should have award $$$ for the place you are when the season is over. We could have this or the playoff income winnings, like in suggestion where the PO teams get rewarded. But if we were to do reward $$$ it'd be something like this, In a given division before PO;

It's nice to see some discussion about this issue, hopefully the BBs take note and consider doing something about it as soon as possible.

I think it's important not to make any solutions to complicated or complex. Sometimes the most simple solution can be the most effective.

For me, the biggest issue with tanking is that teams will tank for part of the season to save up enough money to buy a couple of beasts right before a playoff or relegation series. This surely goes against how the developers originally planned for the game to work. If you remove the ability for teams to buy mercenary players right before the playoffs/relegation series, you instantly remove the temptation to tank half a season to save up enough money to buy these mercenaries in the first place. Teams will be forced to compete with a roster that is sustainable. I can't think of anything worse than trying to compete against a team that buys in a completely unsustainable roster just for the playoffs. The fact that it's happening more and more often is starting to make it the 'optimal' strategy for playing the game, which is a massive flaw.

If teams want to tank, finish on the bottom and get relegated, I don't have a problem with that. Relegating to a lower division is the punishment for tanking and finishing on the bottom. It's when they tank and buy up players to survive a relegation series that is the biggest problem, in my opinion.

If teams want to run with a roster that can only win one game per week, again that's their decision. I think you'll find that if they don't have the option of buying players before the relegation series, this strategy will soon disappear.

The root of the tanking problem is the current playoff eligibility transfer deadline. Until this is moved, the problems with tanking (and buying hired guns for a couple of weeks) will still exist.

Someone also mentioned the same problems with the cup. There's an easy fix there was well (I think this might have been mentioned anyway), by making it that only players on your roster at the quarter final stage or whatever round you think is suitable) can play in cup games.

I like yout idea of rewarding more stable roster. This will put incentives for long planning. When you start to long plan for something you might get more involved on that activity than if you're just taking decisions looking at next week.

Tanking is mid-long term plan activity btw. I think we should increase salary floor. Curruntly it's simply ridiculous. Yes, you win less money than if u were tanking without but it should be around 2 times TV contract so every team would have to make a somewhat competitive roster and you could also try to earn some cash by running a low budget team but forced to avoid tanking since you would still be paying for somewhat competitive team.

That's what I said, a simple answer, just move the deadline over a couple of weeks and it'll be vanished. I know it may not be fair, but it's a good idea to me. Matt's with me. 2 people. Now need a lot more to get on the same page.
