Why? Only because it's 1?

season of P training will give him decent passing skill for c, which will decrease his turnovers and increase offensive flow, this guy can be great C or even PF if trained correctly but it depends from owner, because if his goal is to get him to u-21 he will need to train inside skills, but that means outside skills will be very expensive to train after that

Good arguments, I like you're not throwing "Passing, passing!" out there just because it's at atrocious.

On one hand, training at 18 and 19 years is so fast that every week counts, and every decision on what to train counts. On other hand, velocity of training at 18 and 19 years may be the argument to train skills that already train slower because of height of player.

I'd train PA, but not spend on it the whole season. I'd do something like this:

1. week PA
2. week 1 on 1 for SF/PF
3. week ID for C
4. week RB for C

And keep it that way for 2-3 seasons. This type of training keeps player's salary low and prepares it for the "big season of IS" where IS would have a good elastic effect, but the salary effect would not be seen until season after that.

After the PA would be high enough, he can spend a good amount of time on PG to train OD. I made a mistake and had been training my center's OD first, which of course made me lose a lot of games because of bad offensive flow. Had I been training PA first, that would not be the case.

This is an excellent point that Koperboy makes. Low OD isn't always a killer if you're trying to train a guy at PG, cause you can arrange the defensive switches to cover for that.

But on offense, there are no switches, and the guy at PG is gonna have to pass, or your team performance will really drop off. So it makes good sense to train that PA young, when it trains fast, so you reach a decent level PA to stay competitive in early round Cup matches (or league games you'll know you'll lose, but want to keep the PD loss in check).

What flow? PG runs the show, not C. For me C can't organize the play. He is to stand under the rim and pick up balls and score - in defense, rebound and block shots. I agree with turnovers thing, C with nice passing can be unpredictable but I still like him to score on his own. :)

from what i have heard depens from players passing skills(in every tactic the player which influence it changes) but anyway C needs P , maybe i`m mistaking about OF

The passing skill of a center doesn't show up in the team rating for offensive flow, that's true.

But that doesn't mean that some passing on a center is useless. On the contrary, decent passing on centers can result in easy assists, improving overall team performance. Also, a center who can pass will be more likely to not force up a bad shot when well guarded. Instead he'll pass the ball off to a teammate with a better 'look'.

It's a good example of how even though some positions' skills have no effect on team ratings in the box score, they will have a big effect on team performance.

Another way to sum it up is: secondaries are important.

PG comes to C and just takes the ball. Don't you watch basketball? :)
