So you expected it to work even with Dudnic on PG, and it didn't. Kinda unrealistic expectations. you have to field an optimal lineup first and then say "it didn't work" if it really didn't work

I have come to like outside Iso very much as i have a PF trainee with real good outside shooting. He performs real well in that offense.... .

I am thinking of putting my SG in PF position as you mentioned that your PF performed well because of good outside shooting. Let's see whether it works or not.

I used both strategies, but both mainly relied on mid-range shots.

I think Outside Isolation is NY Knicks with Carmelo on PF, and Inside Isolation is Orlando with Dwight.

I play outside iso a lot, and I notice far less assists than other offenses.

This game looks like great example of how not to use isolation.
The worst player on court had the most number of attempts.
Groonlius scored 11 of 28 shots (39%), whilst all other players scored 40 of 61 shots (66%).
Groonlius scored 4 of 9 free throws (44%), whilst all other players scored 14 of 18 FT (78%).
Groonlius had 0 assists and 3 turnovers, whilst other players had together 23 assists and 9 turnovers.
So when first option in attack had ball then possession was usually unsuccessful - he missed most of shots, missed FTs when fouled, lost ball, and he wasn't able to pass.
All good things occured only when first option didn't touch ball.

Third example is very good. 2nd is debatable because 5 players had more attempts than the best scorer, who played mostly in garbage time. Generally game with garbage time isn't good example in most discussions.

Any example is better then none

Every week in BB hundreds or thousands games with Isolations are played. We can paste all of them because hundred is better than three. However for me it's better to show only one selected example with good analysis and few important or interesting things and conclusions than many random and completely different games only because they are own matches.
BTW this is topic about Inside Iso so matches with Outside Iso aren't perfect examples, because these two tactics are working in different way.

And in the game you spent 95% of your post commenting on my starting SG was injured after ~4 minutes.

It doesn't matter because injured players don't play, interesting things are made only by players on court. Maybe without injury of starting SG this Iso would work better and it would be better example.

If you read my post that your replied to you will see me mentioning my PF trainee that actually did real well in that game to.

PF played well, however he had similar number of attempts as SF and C, SG had more only PG had less. So maybe PF is good but tactic (and/or other players on court) weren't good enough to better exploit this advantage and opponent's weakness on this position (the weakest opponent's player was PF).

I have played this offense alot. It is almost as aggressive as LI, and will spread the ball around like a basic offense.
With skilled big men they will find the open man provided that the open man makes the shot.
With the right personnel, this offense is difficult to defend
Also from game to game it saves on the wear and year of your big men continuing getting fouled which increases the chance of injury that you may see running the LI offense.
The Outside isolation example of relativelty the same thing, it's just a matter of offensive flow.....outside the pg controls the offense as seen by the 12 combined assists by both PGs in that game shown above. Whereas IO..... think of the old Houston Rockets teams, everything flowed through Hakeem, he was the number 1 scoring option and distributor.......if that is the case then it can be argued with both offenses that it has the same principles of the inside and outside "triangle" offense.
For all intensive purposes BB should have just inserted "triangle" instead of isolation but that is what this form of isolation is.
It spreads the floor better than any offense I have yet to see.
