How come you can tell me what players I need or don't need? Maybe all I needed to promote would be a 300k-C for 2 weeks. Why shouldn't I be allowed to buy him for some weeks if I can aford him?

You're in D2 so you likely wouldn't be stopped from buying a $300K player (or close to it) with Koperboy's suggestion so I have no clue why you're complaining? It's the players in the lower divisions who wrongly think this type of purchase is needed and backrupt their teams in the process that a rule like this would target.

And sorry but if a handful of owners can't buy the 300K player they think they need and have to settle for a 200K player instead but we keep 100 owners in lower divisions from bankrupting their team in the process, a rule like this absolutely serves the greater good of the game. It should have been put in several seasons ago really.

what exactly is the TV revenue in league II? because there are a lot micronations with only one competitive league and a few players in league II. in this nations it would still be possible to have farm teams with highsalaryplayers. whereas it would be more difficult in bigger countries.

You're missing my point here: there are thousands of players in D.4 and below and only a very small number (50?) have NT players in their roster, whom they can't afford for longer than a week. If you think they are cheating: find a way to prove it. Farming is not forbidden and it shouldn't be.

You don't have to implement new rules to prevent cheating. Cheating is forbidden already.

You're just trying to find a workaround with Koperboys suggestion.

NT sabotage is a problem but it's a problem for a small (but loud) minority of players. The suggested salary max would hit all players - cheaters and non-cheaters (who are not even looking into forums). That's what I don't like.

new topic:
If you want to stop newbies making silly mistakes than think about my suggestion. It's not meant to stop cheating.

BTW: I've no intent of promoting to Bundesliga any more. This is not about me and my team but this is about teams in low leagues who are not cheaters!

My point had nothing to do with cheating.

Why shouldn't farming be forbidden?

Because not every farm is a cheater, it's as easy as that.

A lot of guys, like e.g. labude, achieved everything they wanted in this game. So after that they decide to buy a bunch of young guys and train them as they want. Is that cheating? It might result in farming, if his players are good enough to get into any NT.

If a guy just doesn't want to compete but train a bunch of his own draftees for himself because he wants to have a team consisting only of his players - is that cheating? E.g. Scott Broszeit got trained in Div.4 till he became a NT player for Germany. His owner had to sell him some time ago because he couldn't afford him any more. Does that make him a farm or not? A lot of NT players have their roots in Div. 4...

If a player doesn't want to compete anymore but has a lot of money and wants to help any NT by training and farming an NT-player? Why do you want to forbid it?

As you say: if a farm is a multiaccount it's already forbidden, because that's cheating. If you hate cheating: help the GMs catch cheaters.

If you want to punish people for not trying to win, punish giving away games:

Especially in top leagues usually max. 3 teams compete for the league title, all the, 2 teams tank, the rest gives away one game a week to stay in the cup. That's competition...

That's not considered cheating, so why should it be forbidden if someone wants to concetrate on training not winning in a lower league?

I'm with you with multi-accounts: ban than as you see them. But you don't have to fobid everything to get the cheaters. You'll always hurt regular players.
