pretty much, you draft a team (draft is tomorrow) and depending on how the real life players you draft do in real life you get statistics (points, rebounds, blocks, assists, steals, field goal percentage, 3 pt percentage, etc...)whoever totals in the most ... in that category, gets a win in that category for their record. simple explanation

"Big 3 Emerging in Springfield"

It's been a tough season to swallow for the fans of the Sprinfield Strom this year. But things may be looking up. Despite it's 5-13 record, three players have emerged as a solid core heading into next year. Ian Kosta, Jordi Zurita, and Denis Radzevich are collectively averaging 55 points and 28 rebounds per game. Kosta's spectacular season doesn't come as a suprise, but it's the duo of Zurita and Radzevich that's really turned heads this season. Radzevich is averaging 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 19 points per game in his first season as the starting small forward. Zurita is averaging 16 points per game along with 9 rebounds in his first season with the team. A big reason for Zurita's success this season is Ian Kosta. "He's just a great friend, teammate, and mentor. He's really stepped it up this season. Not only statistics, but in his mentorship of young Jordi. He's really embraced helping Jordi out this season. I've never seen anything like it."
This has been a dark season for Springfield, but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. And it could be coming quicker than expected.

Great stuff!

Get the Storm back to the Finals where they seem to enjoy being. :P And then land in III.16 soon so I can play an old familiar face :)

"Springfield Adds Another Piece to Championship Puzzle"

The Springfield Storm are getting closer to completing their mission---winning a championship. They purchased combo guard Vezullor Xhelili on Tuesday afternoon to fill a major vacancy in their backcourt. He averaged 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for league III in Hong Kong. He's expected to start at SG while Jordi Zurita and Denis Radzevich take reps at the PG position. He's in the starting line-up tonight against the Charlotte Hornets.

Delpra Times:

"Charlotte Hornetss Spoil Springfield Storm's Star Debut

Springfield Storm recently made headlines by announcing the addition of young phenom guard Vezullor Xhelili to their lineup for a hefty price tag of $443,600. His salary is reportedly worth upwards of $29,000. The massive deal sent ripples throughout the league as teams closely watched the respected franchise execute on its rebuild promise.

Unfortunately, Xhelili's league debut was spoiled by the relentless defense of the Charlotte Hornetss, who held the Storm's offense to 20% shooting. Xhelili finished the game with just 2 assists and 2 rebounds in 33 minutes of action as he struggled early to find his rhythm in the offense. The Storm's front office declined to offer any comments. However, the coaching staff did not seem too concerned with the debut since he barely got a chance to practice before suiting up for the game.
