Posts that are nothing but a link, especially a link to youtube, should get a minus basketball or worse.

Can we all agree that untrained/hardly trained players would be good to see FAd?
Of course we can agree and considering that Marin wants to push training, it obviously makes sense to give people more trainable young players, especially when the draft can be honestly be very underwhelming. The draft in the EBBL last season was like this:
0x 18yo MVP or better
1x 19yo MVP
1x 18yo SS
3x 19yo SS
1x 18yo PAS
0x 19yo PAS
The rest was worse.

Too many people underestimate the worth of an All-Star or a Star. This guy is nothing for 1st or 2nd league, but he is a valuable player for 3rd league and helped me promote to 3rd league:

Simon MacKechnie (33315212)
Center, Gehalt $ 19 522
Alter: 25
Größe: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potenzial: Star

TSP: 96 (52 + 44)

The problem with a lot of these old free agents is: they are mostly monoskilled, e.g. JS 17 at the age of 41. Hired some of these guys myself just to fill my lineup. But of course I know that they will not be valuable very long.

The BB commission has decided to revisit and simplify Free Agency again. The new prerequisites are: at least 60 skill points and a salary no higher than $60 000. The change should help fill in the gaps in market demand

I dont get the purpose of this new rule, can someone explain to me in a few words?

Not all top tier teams are "old geezers." Anyways, why does releasing low salary Free Agents mean they have to stop "feeding the big dogs." Can't they do both?

Also, when new managers sign up, most probably have the expectation or goal that eventually, with good management, they should be able to make it to D1. It might take them 5 seasons, 10 seasons or longer, but the point is they should be able to make it to the top eventually. If players at the top are super expensive, newer teams, once they reach the highest level, simply won't be able to compete with the more established D1 teams.

Look, if high quality players are relatively cheap, it doesn't really affect new teams. Div 4 teams aren't competing with Div 1 teams. But once the newer teams promote into D2 or D1 they'll have an easier time competing, if prices are lower, because they will be able to afford high quality players.
