Enoch is definitely my best perimeter shooter. We also tend to have good flow. So, when he gets that mismatch, he goes off. Relatively disappointing the rest of the time though.

Boy, after four games I am seeing Flashes of Rum and Ham in the finals. Do we have an oracle in the group that can explain?

Uh oh. Looks like someone pissed off Dexter Morgan. Heard he got out his medical kit and plastic bags and is taking a quick run to the bay in his boat with fish bait!

We got six playing on Thursday. But it's Gonna be tough to see three teams advance beyond Thursday. Hope we can all make through, but I will say that Dexter is gonna be busy examing his own spatter patterns after his matchup with the #1 US team.

Can some please explain how my team ranking goes from 50 to 53 when I won my last tourney game? shouldn't it improve? I am clueless on this. must be related to DMI.

The people that moved up, moved up higher in ranks than you. Those that moved down, didn't move down far enough for you to move up.

Example. Frogmonsters are rank 50. A ranked 51 team beats ranked 20 team. Ranked 51 team becomes rank 40. Previously ranked 20 team becomes rank 30.

Just a rough example, I don't know how much moving up and down teams typically do, but I assume that's what happened. Hope that made sense.

I follow you, but I last beat a cup team that was ranked 30 to my 50. Yet I fall in ranking?

I'd also expect that the ranking is based on some kind of time window or has a decay factor. Maybe you had a really successful game/week move out of the window.


Somewhat related, my cup loss was brutal. Up two with 20 seconds to go, I get fouled and miss both free throws. With one second left, they score a layup to tie the game. I miss the nonsense shot at the buzzer. Overtime.

I get out to a 7-0 lead in OT. Still up by 4 with 30 seconds left. I've been running 4 guards with my best center fouled out since the 4th. They miss a 3, get the board, and immediately make a 3. Foul me and I make both for a three point lead with 20 seconds left. They immediately make another 3 to tie the game. My team holds for the last shot. With two seconds left, my worst player on the court tries a layup and gets blocked. Somehow, in those two seconds they go cross-court for a DUNK to win the game.

Before I retire from this game, I want to go through my history and tally up my overtime record and my buzzerbeater count. I got buzzerbeatered TWICE that game!
