My starting 5 all made the all-star team :-) That's kind of coolWhat's also kind of cool is you and I are the only D-III teams remaining in the tournament. Congrats on making the sweet 16! I just checked out your roster and I'm surprised by a few things:Congrats to you too!! I was hoping we would draw each other in the Sweet 16 round...thought that would have been fitting, and ensure one of us makes it to the final 8 of the tourney :-)
1.) You held onto the fouling machine Ted "Angry" Agee. Maybe he's calmed down over the years with the right meds?He has gotten better. Every so often he'll scare me with 3 fouls in the first 15 minutes of a game, and I flashback to the old days, but aside from Private League games, his fouling is usually much improved and much more tolerable. Although, I was feeling uneasy in my Cup game last night....10 seconds into the game, he was called for a foul, and I thought "here we go!" Then we were leading 15-10, and we missed two free throws to extend the lead and they finished the quarter on a big run, and took the lead going into the second. A couple more "Angry" Agee fouls and an injury to my starting SF, and still trailing midway through the 2nd, it felt like a screw job in progress, and figured we'd lose. I was getting madder by the second, so I closed my laptop and headed out to play volleyball. I checked my score before I started playing surprised to see we held a 3 point halftime lead, and checked again after my first volleyball game was over and was shocked to see us up 25 going into the 4th
I guess I had nothing to worry about :-)
2.) You sold that secret weapon you bought seasons ago...the Taiwanese cowboy, Bu "lil" Ling LingYeah, there was no taming him...we had to let him go :-)
Btw, thank you for posting in our forum...I was beginning to think it was broken, and other people couldn't post here...I appreciate you confirming that it does indeed work :-) Good luck in league playoffs, maybe we'll end up in the same D2 league :-)
