I think (and i don't work on this directly so i'm not any more of expert than you) that the fact that some people saw a drop in season ticket holders when they won the league, indicates that the formula was tweaked and there is memory loss... meaning just because you had a lot of season ticket holders last season doesn't mean you will next season... so after a few seasons what the formula was back in season 1 or 2 won't really matter because the season ticket holder number will be mostly a function of the recent past and present situation.

so its not a fun transitional period, but the purpose of tweaking the formula would be to help keep the appropriate balance of revenue between upper level teams and lower level teams... if that was gotten wrong than it had to be adjusted.

sure - whats done is done and if it takes a couple more seasons to adjust no problem.

im talking more about when a winning streak snaps and your attendence plummets (not drops) PLUMMETS!

theres one thing to try and keep the balance in revenue but this seems a harsh way to do it...

if you want to take more money away from top level teams, why not insist they pay higher salaries for equivalent players..

ie. l.4 team pays $5k wage for player
l.3 team pays 10k, l.2 pays 20k and l.1 one pays 40k. In reality ANY player stepping up the ranks knows he can demand a higher salary in a top division (irrespective of skills)

Sorry to go off topic.. this moment of inspiration came to me right now!

Just going to suggestions forum to elaborate on this idea!

Win in the Cup will that be a factor for calculating in the new formula?

Because it seems that I have 30% less than my division (2) winner, and i can't see there has a large difference in number with the others, or maybe i can say there is no difference.

I do not mean that the cup winner should have more ticket holders than the league winner,

but i have already lost the chance to take the best draftee ( i got 22 wins in the regular season, so i draft at the last),

and it is not easy to get 0 loss in the regular season, I need to do all my best in all the games ( I know there is some people who will lose the game deliberately to get the precedence in draft)

If i get the same ticket holders with the others, then, is that mean all the body just try your best to get the forth / sixth place in your regular season is enough?

Hope someone can get my meaning, it's hard for me to express my feeling in English, maybe there is some differences with my oringinal idea :)

Is it possible to know which tickets were bout by my season ticket holders. It would be nice to know if they are bleachers or luxury box.

This will be difficult, since my understanding is fans might switch before sections (with some overall fan loss, of course) depending on how the stadium is laid out. In other words, if you don't have enough normal seats, a fraction of the fans that would have liked a seat there would go to the bleachers, and a fraction maybe to the courtside seats, but you'd still be losing overall attendance. I remember something along these lines being mentioned in the forums.

That makes no sense. I have had season tickets in two different countries and in both of them i by my seat for the season. So if there are 5,000 seat and 2,000 hold season tickets then i should know which ones were bout already so i can know how to build my stadium for the future. I don't know how that is so complicated to know where they bought. If you know they bought then you know how much they paid for them which means you know where they should be sitting. I cant sell more luxury seats than i have the same way i cap out at 5,000

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when youre sittin at the table. Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

I don't think season tickets represent seats sold in your arena for the season, but are rather a general measure of how many people show up for games. This is, of course, just my educated guess.

well based on how it works for the fan it means you buy a ticket with an assigned seat in real life. If it is different here someone from BB should let it be known.

It obviously works different in real life, since fans here don't pay their season tickets up front.
