this will change by the time, the game will get older and more exciting - I don't think that the team can do league, cup and B3 by 5 players.. and if you decide to play B3, you will put there always your best I think because of the benefits (at least I would)

I pretty sure that there will ever differents, and if you aren't a total dominating player in your country, you had no extra team for B3 and to buy this need some time.

And i think even if the game is progressing, teams would have some stars not a lot average players, becuase i don't need the top players to win in the cup and a bit more quality in league could be pretty usefull.

In Cup there eare always promising teams from low devisin, who look that they got 8 strong players for a cup, and play with an weaker team in league and they don't get the money for so much good players but through focusssing they are pretty strong in cup and after it in their playOffs.

edit: I don't agree with "not" training players during a B3 game, isn't necessary to erase this benefit/difficulty

Some people say splitting the team is a major mission and an important tactical choiche, i and some other wnat to play the strongest teams in B3, which plays the tactic where the manager ist mostly convinced of his succes and not which will fit best in their game plan(i got some players for outside and inside tactics)

The only thing I saw in real life was that betting made the poor even poorer

and make B3 even more glorious

Betting is a two way street. You can lose and you can win. I don't play poker in casinos because I know I will lose. That's why I play only among friends, because I know how's their personality. If you had continued reading the post, you'd see I made another suggestion that was limiting the amount just for the purpose of creating the buzz around the games without affecting the main economic structure. And let it become a lot more like real games where people go see the previous scores of the teams and try to make a decision. Get to know another team, other than theirs, bet on the game and watch the game. Be part of the game in a way. This is a idea with tremendous potential and it doesn't has to be limited by what I think or what you think. Ultimately, I think there are ways to create a healthy competition inside BB and create more expectation around the games, other than a news post like we give a crap about 3B. Personally, I don't.
Other users had continued to develop this idea (that when I have more time will read, but now I'm a bit into my work), but I think we all think it's funny to see who has the "most betted team" aka "the most adored team" in each season, who is the player who made the best choices and make BB game more alike the real games.
So, for the sake of the discussion read all the posts before commenting and don't make like Lord of Doom and I that just added nothing to it.

I did only comment on your theory that it would be good for the poor. I still am not convinced. little money or no, they still can loose it, and for the ones that only have little, loosing little is loosing all...

This said I never said I was against your idea entirely.
Therefor I said that it would be nice to have a mini game like someone else suggested. the only thing is...who's going to step up and do the job? ;)

How about make it a mini-game. Instead of real-money. You get chips to bid on teams of your choice. Then we'll have a ranking list of who got the most chips as it is with Flagchase.

It is funny to see which team got favored by real players.

Suggestion still stands. It's still fun without the financial issues you guys are arguing about. but i believe this should only be implemented when all other relevant issues in the game are solved. in the meantime i might do something in this nature in the Dutch forums and see how that will work out.

If it's not money you can use in any way, except bragging rights in the top 10. There are no issues.

well I bet normally and I like that because it is not a contest for "chips" only

this is about taste too, while I would like to see betting in here even on your version, however less interresting I think

i agree it's less interesting, but actually bidding with real money you can spend will ruin the game. People will find way to exploit it and then you'll have another problem the BB's need to solve.

Flagchase is just about flags... yet you see a lot of people participating in it. No one really is getting anything out of it, does that make it less interesting? It's just something for fun. Flagchase is not even an official BB feature.

Another example, you'll see a lot of player spending hours upon hours playing arcade poker for fun on the internet. They don't seem to mind playing with virtual money they can collect just to compare with other players.

I thank you for this solution - if there would be any financial issues, "chips" could make things right.. maybe there could be any advacement which you could buy by chips (something like supporter which do not affect a game) - but that's the idea to make this arcade mode more interresting

however still I don't like to see arcade mode, it's my nature, maybe I'm gambler, but I don't like unreal things where you can't lose anything.. anyway that's not a problem now

..problem is to develop this system to be fully automatic, this idea should to come now from anyone

mmm it is pretty easy to make an game like that, with an external web page ... If it just for fun and competition, you need just one admin and one of the tipping webopages to do so :)

Maybe then it's not integrated but the fun should be the same, and you could advertise that in the forum for sure.
