if i may be honest, we must hope getting through on points. I doubt serbia or bosnia wont win their game...

Whatever the outcome, with the (very) poor English squad we have, compared to other NT, I think waggyrob did an ace job. I would never have put my money on England being still in the mix when the last round comes around...

I agree waggyrob has done a great job. I expected us to do well mainly because of home advantage and how we got to the final of the consolation tourney. But we don't have the greatest squad. Should be an exciting week

Bit of a downer, that loss, but this has been a very competitive group. We're still in with a shot, so don't get too downhearted.

Half way through our must win final qualification game & the cards are stacked against us. Scores tied at the half but we have lost our best inside scorer Paris to injury, & his backup is 0-4.

Going to be a tight 2nd half.

Around the grounds - Turkey are down 4 points at half time to Romania & Bosnia are winning.

LIVE LADDER (@ end of 3rd in both games) & ignoring Bosnia

Serbia - 68 England - 77
Romania - 77 - Turkey - 68

3: Turkey + 31


EDIT - Sumoi have mounted some form of comeback & are only down 5 points against Bosnia at the end of the 3rd.

Crap... A tiny bit of luck more and we were in :(

Oh well, you did a good job and the two damn points should not shade that...

I'm also kind of guilty. I've been on hols and as a consequence managed poorly the game shape of my players, including Hobson :(
