ik zal het in Engels doen want ik ben ziek en dat is dus moielijk voor mij om in een gooie nederlands te schrijven...

According to a survey made by managers who's play in PRO A (D1) in France, the defence 3-2 is less effective for the reboud than the "men to men". It's also confirmed by my experience of the game. The defense 1-3-1 is amazing for the outside defense but we lose so much in reboud that it was not attractive.
Now Sybrand Liesens is okay to play again and it will help us because it's a good Center who's can as PF play...
But we are confident to acces to the next level of the competition.

this also is what I think when I read the rules about defensive tactics.

My experience says that something amazing does not exist. 1-3-1 might be better for outside defense, but it's not amazing. And as you say you loose so much in rebound that it is seldom attractive.

Ik denk inderdaad ook dat op NT level de taktiek 1-3-1 niet heel vaak gebruikt hoeft te worden en dat het daar ook niet heel effectief is. Dit komt gewoon omdat de NT teams meestal goed gebalanceerd zijn, waardoor je inderdaad teveel rebounding verliest met een 1-3-1.

Op competitieniveau ligt dit heel anders, hier kan 1-3-1 een uitstekende taktiek zijn. Als je als een inside based team tegen een outside based team speelt, wat nogal eens voorkomt, kan je heel goed de outside aanval blokken door een 1-3-1 en dan alsnog genoeg rebounding overhouden omdat het outside team geen goede centers heeft.

Dan weer terug naar de poule van Belgie, wel een rotloting zeg, erg sterke poule. Israel en Portugal horen zeker bij de besten van Europa, Hongarije is ook niet slecht. Succes Viva, en de volgende keer beter wel wissels opstellen

Die stonden als wissels hoor, de coach heeft ze gewoon niet gebruikt als speler blijkbaar :s

En de loting kon inderdaad beter :p
