Brazil gets a walkover with Uruguay. If Mexico is able to pull off an upset versus US (CT vs TIE?) then Brazil might take 1st place in group stage.

Well, looks like we are playing Brazil in semis. Since that was the option most users chose I am taking full credit for being a genius and losing a game with Chile to set us up for this matchup. You are all very welcome ;)

Ok guys. Lets take advantage of the opportunity in front of us and advance to the final. Everybody with NT player please train GS. We need absolutely perfect preparation.

Brazil had trouble with GS this week. Lets hope it continues to the next one. Tommorow's update will decide a lot. Also, expect callups before sunday

Worley, Kumar, Chacon, Guevin not at proficient. Chacon will be a healthy scratch, remaining 3 are in strong GS and we are getting thin on guards so at least one will be forced to play. Will look into callup options as well.

Rest of the team, great job. Our core is looking good, fit and ready.

Brazil's GS looks much worse. Also, they have 3 players on sale, all in proficient GS (and they are sold before the game). Branquinho already has a bid on him so GS is going to drop for sure. Leiva is posted on sale for 300k. Not overpriced at all, hoping somebody puts a bid on him since he is at proficient GS and pretty good SG, but there is a chance he wont be sold and our defense will have hands full with him. Carvalhaes is their highest paid player. 300k centre with proficient GS. I really dont want to face him in this GS. The good news: he is priced at 1$. The bad news: still no bid on him.

Anybody can take a quick view at the rules (I dont really have time atm) and tell me what happens if you bid on NT player and then fire him? Does he go on free agency, or you just cant fire him? I am pretty sure you can fire him and he will be put on sale so it would cost just 1000$ to get rid of the biggest threat for our team. Also, is that a good thing to do since its Brazil's NT who should be blamed to allow such thing to happen or is that going to leave a bad taste?

You can't fire an NT player, and I don't think that would be an appropriate strategy regardless. We should be big favourites after GS updates, let's just focus on the game now.

I think you are seriously underestimating Brazil. Their starters from Colombia game have 3x proficient, 1 stron and one respectable GS. They can field really strong lineup without GS drops due to transfers.

There's very little difference between a high strong and proficient. Just check the DMI.

Great job with the NT so far.
