I think you are effectively eliminated, but I may not understand the NT so bare with me.

There are only 4 spots to go to the next round. Chile is playing Deutschland in the next game. One of those teams will have a 3-3 record after the game for sure. They both have a higher differential (you are a -83, Chile is a -17, Deutschland is +10). Also, you would still have to get past Australia.

In other words, it is a one in a billion chance (if that). Even if you win your last two games, the best you could hope for is a tie for the last spot but you would still lose out on point differential.

On the other hand, Paulo is still actually playing for something. His back is against the wall and he needs the help for Monday's game. You have guys with twice the talent of the U21 and they would really make a difference.


It's a very good point. U21 team could sneak into 3rd place with the national team players. What does the national schedule look like after this round? Do they need the players back again soon?

NT will need the players for the start of the new season, new coach will be without a team if I drop them...

If U21 makes it farther with players from current NT, they will be there a while, NT won't make it too far without them either. It's complicated matter, really

Both teams will have offseason enthusiasm resets (in the NT case, under a new coach) to get their rosters back in shape.

Assuming you think the NT can't do anything more now, the only reason not to give the players to the U21 is if you don't think paulo09_ca can be trusted or depended on to give players back who will still be <=21 in the new season. And in fact, there are no players who are 20 right now on the NT.

So, it doesn't seem like a complicated matter at all. Drop the 21-yo's now, period.

To be honest, i'm getting sick and tired of your superiority complex.
I didnt' get into it until now, but you kinda ticked me off today. So here we are.

You are a hypocrite. When i took the team, first person i messaged was you to politely ask for any kind of information or help. Your answer was again very superior, like a noble talking to a peasant. Unfortunately, history keeps only the latest 50 messages so I can't copy/paste our conversations here. But, after you told me bluntly that you don't care what I do with the NT team since it's my team and that you want to spend no time at all with it when I asked for your help and input, I have very little consideration for your comments now.

As far as I'm concerned, all messages coming form you from now on are being ignored, I have to look it up if there is such a feature as ignore user.

A hypocrite with a superiority complex, that's what you are, as far as I"m concerned.

The only reason he comes off like that to you is because of how defensive you get about everything. None of the rest of us have a problem talking to him.

As far as I have seen on here since the beginning of the season you have gotten extremely defensive every time he tried to give advice as so he has now resorted to a blunt intrument to try and get through to you.

Even over something as simple as tactics. Anyone with more than a pea for a brain can see that you are just going to run & gun repeatedly, yet at the hint of a suggestion otherwise your hackles rose and you acted as though nobody elses opinions matter.

What about right now? He is 100% right about the under 21 players, but instead of agreeing and accepting his advice you clam up and ignore it once again.

Oeuftete has been a helpful and considerate player to everyone but you, so maybe you should reconsider your evaluation of who is causing the problem here. You may be sick and tired of his "superiority complex," but your inability to accept criticism of any kind is equally tiresome.

I vaguely recall the BB-mails, but not surprisingly I don't remember them the way you do.

I certainly didn't have any interest in acting as an advisor when you took over. I was a little burned out on the NT and spending plenty of time on BB with GM duties.

After a while, I noticed some issues with the direction you were taking the team, and that got me interested enough to ask questions and point out obvious problems.



Now, what are you going to do with the 21-year-olds? Please just consider the facts of the issue, and not the messengers.

You obviously didn't check the team in a while, the 21 yo were dismissed long ago, not sure if before or after you had your flaming post...

The point may be moot since the U21 already has 16 players. I should have checked that first.
