Ask the others from 3/10. You needed to be at the absolute maximum capacity of your revenue to promote back then (like you do in any active league). The team I had to beat was similar to yours, except he had 250k worth of starting guards. It was even harder the season before when my opponent had an almost identical balanced line up.

I think tanking is a detriment to the game. However, there is no way to stop it, and if you're not a part of the revolution, you have no chance in competing.
The issue with it is last I heard iwen had 15 million banked from last season. No doubt of his ability as a manager, but anyone who has a basic understanding of the game can dominate anyone with that. Yes, saving money is a legitimate strategy, but it kills the ability to genuinely out think an opponent, therefore killing the competition (the whole purpose of competing).
So while the few of us that planned to make our run this season, we are praying for several miracles to have any chance. Then when we waste resources to compete for second, managers like camel tank toward a figure that will make him unstoppable. This season it 15 million, next its 17, then 20 and so on...
Same as training. Why spend seasons training a players who is well behind for the first few seasons when you can cut back on staff and tank a few seasons and buy ready made players?
