That's the kind of process I am thinking. Kind of. Thing is, it's kinda "bass-ackwards" a bit. For LI, we need to come up with a defensive scheme (defense+build) that renders it a weaker performer. That's the key. It doesn't matter if we can't come up with an offense that "beats LI" - we simply need to score more with the same offense if needs be. Thus... stopping it. I know that it's not a simple task, and will prove difficult... but in line with what wolph just suggested - I've even had conversations with Swoosh about my willingness to work SB into K-Mat's build, at the expense of a little ID.

Offensively, we can either continue LI, or come up with a scheme that benefits from being played vs M2M. My guess would be a very high amount of handling/passing and maybe even driving - even on bigs - combined with motion or R&G.
Just a thought... again, all of these come at a sacrifice of something else. But (regardless of some nay-sayers here) we're NEVER going to compete much higher than we are now following suit with those ranked better than us.

Kishita fouls out in 21 minutes? May have to switch to stamina training this week. :(

Gotta say, happy to see K-Mat have this game. I don't think he's had a dominant game in the NT this season - regardless of opponent. Overall, our bigs smashed theirs. And Lubnan's bigs are the strong aspect of their team.
Funny how only a few seasons ago we were bemoaning the lack of depth in the front court for the NT...

Just a simple question which I ask at the massive risk of Malice going completly berserk & ranting at me, why didn't Eita play? He probably would have been the best big man this week with only some of the PGs looking as fit as him.

Kishita didn't play either & that makes sencse considering all factors, but Eita doesn't.

How many times did Eita pop in OD since end of my cadency? I think few trainings in this skill should help, without few extra pops he will never be sure to play in NT.

Heh... dunno about that. Proof's in the pudding, as they say.

There will be times when Wakatsuki is key... and time's when he's... not. Remember dude, the NT doesn't revolve around your players. Swoosh has managed the team just fine.

Eita did have some pops in OD but it stilll isn't great I admit. I also admit K-Mart is a fantastic player. It is just looking at the game shape of so many bigs this week and him being in proficient GS I am surprised he didn't play. He scored a 19.5 rating i his last game for me as PF while instead we went with

K-Mart 16.5
Furusawa 15.5
Asano 16.5 (at SF)
Yasujiro 15.5

It is just a question but I just would like to know why we are playing guys in respectable GS who score 15s rather than guys in proficient GS who score 19s. If there is a good reason I will be more than happy to accept it. If it is secret a bbmail explaining why would be fine.

I agree with malice that the coach has done a great job, I just want to know why Eita isn't playing so I can do something about it.

Ratings depend on enthusiasm and minutes played by player with match. So it's hard to compare two players, who are playing in different clubs.
Eita had rating 19,5 when he played 11 minutes.
In second match at the same week, when he played 48 minutes he had rating only 14,0. It isn't NT level.

It's much harder to compare players, who played on different positions. It's possible, that better player has worse rating. Weak OD has no impact on rating for C/PF positions but impact on final result is higher than zero. When I set lineup as NT coach match ratings were scarcely 3rd of 4th factor. Probably I used few times club ratings as decider, but only in case, when two considered players played in the same club in the same match ;-)

Gee.
Maybe check what their GS actually is...
This was a game that Nippon were a very likely winner of. Perhaps Swoosh decided to try something out...
At any rate - Yasujiro, Asano, K-Mat & Furusawa all played good games. It looks like coach made some good decisions.

And lastly: utilize BBmail yourself - this airing of dirty laundry every time a player of yours is *slighted* is a lil' silly.
