Dare you to start him.

Don't tempt me. I have a scrimmage on Thursday.

Real question: how is that possible? If you didn't invest, how do you see so many players? Are these just the original scout estimates? The original estimates are usually notoriously off.

Sorry for all the questions. As this is my first season in Div II, and I'm getting pounded, I am looking at my lowest draft position in a while. I don't want you to give away secrets or anything, but just a little advice. Thanks.

I was just referring to the original scouting estimates (and yes I know they are not even close to being accurate) I haven't actually scouted any players as I am getting tired of wasting money on the draft as I feel like it is just a crapshoot (how good a 5 ball will actually be and how deep a draft will be) and was just trying to make fun of the draft really. I do feel like the new draft is an improvement though, especially with enabling you to see the height.

I really like the new draft. I dislike how expensive it is though. I pay around $20k a week which is probably on the high side for a playoff team and can't even come close to scouting all the players.

First, I really shouldn't complain about the draft because it makes me lose even more interest in this game.. and there really is very little interest to lose at this point.

Second, I do agree. The new draft system is much better. However, it still is way too random for me; random in a negative way. You can sort of discern the weakness of the player from the box score I suppose. But in the end, you can do everything correctly, draft a stud with 5k+ wage and hall of fame potential, and have a virtually untrainable player because that one core skill just sucks way too much.

Third, don't ask me for a better solution other than adding an option to spend enough on scouting an actual individual skill. Maybe spend a crap load of points to scout a players actual skill. Who knows.

Good luck with it guys, I really hope it works out for someone.

You're saying he's better than this guy? (17741465) Or this guy? (17741470) (both of whom you managed to sell for a total amount that covers, say, Larson's salary for 3 weeks or so)

There's a reason I still have Moises and the others are gone. I bet I could get him to sell around 100k if I dangled him for long enough. Players with < 1k salary seem to get an extra reward on the market.

Who wants to tally up the interconference rankings? I know I went 5-3. What about the rest of you cheese snorkelers?

First cup of coffee? at 3 pm? Even if you are on the west coast I'm baffled. O.o

But yeah you forgot the most important part:

Big 8: 29-35
Great 8: 35-29
