You could update the salaries for inmediately stop inflaction as happened in season 2-3 all-star weekend, only anounce it and do.

Yes, they could do that but now is too late. 2 things are bad now, the age of the players, it seems that there was a divine intervention and this is absolutely far from the reality and the lack of info about the new wave of FAs, I think BBs could inform us about the raise of the FAs on the transfer list. I hope a news will be release soon regarding what we should expect in the new season.

It's more of 2 years that I'm playing here, imho is still the best online game but something could be changed: think a little bit more before to change the economy, they've written that the inflaction was due to deconstruction of arena + new drafted on the TL and I'd like to have more options when I've to chose how to play, now it seems to me that run&gun and 3-2 is the best tactic available. Of course is possible that LI can be still a good choice but only few teams seem to have the roster to play in this way and if the 99% of the teams cannot play LI and 2-3 probably is necessary to balance better the GE. I know there will be someone that will say "oh no, I can win easily with all the tactics" but I'm sure BBs can check what I mean.

the second problem is that is more easy to trade the players

Full quote for... me

A player that I've decided to "leave" yesterday at 2,25 m is now in the market at 6,5 m.

Then and really important: who's given me 2 balls in my last post? :p

"The current high prices are unsustainable, and risk a sharp decrease when salaries are updated at the start of Season 11. We will continue to use both free agency and the possibility of luring players out of retirement as necessary to deflate back down towards sustainable prices at a moderate rate."

Don't you think being this sharp on economics of the game, makes it more of an economic game than you would wish for? just asking because your intentions are clear on this subject. still, the prices are high or low, making drastic changes will bring huge benefits to some, huge losses to others and this will put you away from the actual target of focusing on basketball side of the game.

i just gave you 5.. off topic but nevermind ;)

I think it's absolutely justified what BB are doing right now. Managers trading during Bubble-Times have higher risks, since you never know when it's going to pop, which is very realistic. But afterall we're not playing a Market Simulation game, so i totally agree with BB and their raise in FA's.

Well done.

i am a bit confused about level of salaries for next season.. are they going up or down for high skills? any confirmed info from BBs or this thread title is just a speculation.

they are going up, but at the very, very, top level they are going up by less than you might expect.

Well i think all of this is just plain rubbish. The fact that we have SO many players on the market, most of which wont even get sold, is embarrassing. The game should have a computerized sector that buys a player that otherwise wouldn't have a chance of getting sold just as a condolence to the team selling him. I think that would greatly improve teams and game play because it would reduce the number of weak players, allow better ones to get more attention, and it would raise activity overall.

And on one last note. I would LOVE contracts. I think if we as managers are able trade players, not for money however, it would improve the game in its own way. It actually goes hand in hand and is a side effect of a stronger market.

I disagree 100%, So we should keep flooding money into teams, and having players bought that obviously shouldn't be sold. The market works well how it is, players aren't sold because they aren't priced right and thus no one is willing to pay that jsut like a real market.

Id recommend implementation of transfer list fee as it works succsesfully in other managers (bigger).. If i want to place a player on TL i am well aware that if he doesnt get sold i will have to pay 5% of the price i ve placed him.. It s very usefull. This would help with daytrading problem and with 'accidentialy' overpaided players. It s simple like that. Aint it?
