nothing related to anything, but i was looking at an interesting stat.

Of all the League II.3 winners that ive seen promote since i was here in season 19, only one is still in the ABBL. Sundae, Sid, Windies, Snuffies, TAK, Crockers have all bottomed out as soon as they got there.
even worse, is that only Sid has made inroads into getting back into the ABBL.

cursed i tell you! CURSED!!!!!!

Yes this is true, Coach, but the one who is still there...Aussie Pride...is perhaps about to become the ABBL Champions! Now that is worth remembering :)

technically he promoted before i arrived :)

congrats to pancakes as well. I thought the Albertross coulda maybe given him a run for his money, tried something different, didnt work out, so C-cat gets both trophy's and enters back into the ABBL from the

DIVISION OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Or unless proven otherwise.

Maybe i should demote, re-promote and hope for a different division?

anyways well done to freebird for having the balls to try and take it out, the cards fell in ur favour with injuries to tannum and also Jonno being a slacker and a bit quick on the transfer buttons there. from what turned out to be a pretty boring season outlook turned into a fairly interesting end of season.

Good luck for all with ur draftee's REMEMBER NOT TO FIRE THEM - i want that data - list them all for $1 so that i have 3 days to collect their stats.

anyone who doesn't do this, i will seriously hunt you down, because i have spammed the forums telling people to not fire them.

Second Team:
Yubi Yubi
Push the Ball = balanced offence = crud, that's why freebird lost by 13 in my opinion. I didn't think his team was ready for the ABBL quite yet anyway; small arena, five of his eight useful players nearing or at the point where they start losing skills... he would've had his work cut out avoiding relegation me thinks.

Cheers fellas and congrats to freebird for making it so far so early on in your bb career! Wont be long before you promote.

For the record PTB is very underrated, you will soon learn if you have the right team for it then its a very good tactic.... Just doesn't work that well with all those cheap mono skilled 65 year olds all the young kids are into buying now days.

Anyway best of luck to you all next season and thanks for having me!

Oh well shit happens, gave it a crack and it didn't quite work out. The offense wasn't so bad, it was the missed free throws that killed me. Congrats to C-Cat on the win.

All my players will be up soon to avoid bankruptcy. All the playoff games were a bit stressful really, and this loss is a wake up call to how much time I invest in BB and if I actually enjoy it. Honestly don't know if I'll stick around for a rebuild effort.

So you are considering quitting because you were unable to promote to the ABBL in your 4th Season? That's like taking your bat and ball home because you went out. It would be a shame to see you go so easily.

2 of the 3 times that Ive demoted from the ABBL it has been by choice

Whitebeard did pretty good after promoting from II.3 and Yoda has managed to stay up in the ABBL for quite a while, although as someone recently pointed out, he is yet to win any silverware up there.

Well actually when I promoted from II.3 I relegated right away just like everyone else. I would claim the difference was that I had a rock solid plan (and a lot of luck) to relegate right away making a ton of money that would set me up for seasons to come. So in season 17 I won II.3, season 18 tanked like crazy and made a fortune. Season 19 I won division II.4. Then I have made the playoffs in the ABBL for the last seven seasons in a row never finishing below fourth and even having the second best regular season record a couple of times. This is not even close to what Whitebeard has achieved and my only silverware has been a MVP for Lawrance but seven seasons in a row in the ABBL playoffs is far from a disaster.

In season 25, Chelsea Seagulls made the semifinals of the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 24, Chelsea Seagulls made the semifinals of the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 23, Chelsea Seagulls made the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 22, Chelsea Seagulls made the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 21, Chelsea Seagulls made the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 20, Chelsea Seagulls made the semifinals of the playoffs in league Australia ABBL
In season 19, Chelsea Seagulls were crowned champions of league Australia II.4
In season 18, Chelsea Seagulls were relegated from league Australia ABBL
In season 17, Chelsea Seagulls were crowned champions of league Australia II.3

well i thought it was a good crack at it. and yes, FT"S! holy crap ouch.

BB can take up a bit of time, the time i spend on the game tends to ebb and flow, at the moment Im spending quite a lot of time, but ive got a little project keeping me busy and thats what ive found tends to happen.

So sometimes i dont spend much time on it, but i just keep the team ticking over. - like last season, all I did was focus on simple training methods, made sure I won enough games to avoid relegation, top the arena up a little bit and made sure i logged enough times to give Sid a bit of stick here n there.

So yer, dont fret, we all have our 'why do i BB" moments. they will pass. just have a tea and a lie down, ull be right.

Not only is your record far from disaster, but it is truly excellent.

Point intended was that you, just like myself, have yet to win an ABBL or Tournament cup.

Smile though at least you have an MVP, I haven't
