Maybe by stats he means skill levels. This might explain things. Here are the skills of the player on my team with the best stats:
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: inept Handling: atrocious
Driving: pitiful Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: proficient Free Throw: mediocre

Now here are his season stats:

30 0.492 0.419 0.634 1.9 7.3 0.0 0.9 1.8 0.7 1.8 26.3 6.0 SEASON AVG
26 points, 7 boards, 0 assists (is he related to Reggie Theus?) almost 2 steals a game, leading the Thai First Divison in scoring, with a season high of 51.

His skills seem worse than his stats. Of course, he has always played the right number of minutes and ben proficient in his game form every week. So maybe keeping your guys fit and happy with the playing time is as important as skill level.

I just trained Forwards in Jump Shot for three weeks. My lame PF (atrocious OS - pitiful) and my semi-lame PF (awful - mediocre) popped after 2 weeks. Nobody else popped so I rotated to wingmen, hoping that my SF who didn't pop after three weeks will be close to popping from respectable - strong while getting my SG a start on improving. After three weeks on that, Im gonna work up from pg to PF in pressure. I'll be letting you know how it goes.

My pops for this week:

Training Jump Shot, lvl 10
19 year old to Strong JS
19 year old to Respectable JS
21 year old to Respectable JS and Inept DV

They did speed up the training significantly, or it looks like that...

I'm training inside shot and I only trained centres this week. I had no pops. One guy had less than 48 minutes, but the other 2 had more than 48 minutes.

To me, this means that if you train inside shot on only centres, they pop every 1-2 weeks. Unless there is no difference in training speed. I'm going to do the same training this week... I'll let you know what comes up.

It was the first week in passage and I've the new coach lvl 10 (I think he started immediately to steal his salary). I expected a pop because these guys are quite strong and checking the rules a low level skill if the others are good should be increased a little bit faster. I'll wait next week hoping in Monsieur Dubois

im sure you will be fine.... its going to be difficult to check sub levels of skill as a lot of training regimes build up on the attributes....

good luck this week....
