Potential helps a lot, I remember Elias training at the very begining; up until skill 10, during the first season he played, he poped up nearly every week when training only 1 position.

Actually, unless I am mistaken, it doesn't change training at all up until you get to the limit of the player's potential.
Meaning that in most cases, unless it's really low, you won't see the effects of potential until 4 or 5 seasons from when he was drafted.
I'm guessing height had more to do with it.

That is the official decree but in my experience there are clearly players who train faster than others. Whether it has to do with potential or some hidden rating such as a players physicalness/propensity to foul.

Nah, that's just poor training.

Citing numerous variables doesn't prove that there isn't a hidden one though so the possibility remains.

Much like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world may never know.

nice post...

i also like this israeli guy and think he was trained very well.

i dont think motte or the other very expensive guys are very much better then a guy with 70k less salary. but dont forget..its a game...i think such a player is a "econimcal desaster" for nearly each team, becuase you can get two really guys for the same amount. but im still happy about motte because he is maybe the best german player at this moment. and he is in my team :-)

dont forget about this aspect....proud and honour :-)

Will we have the first team battle of 2 of the high wage monster guys in our next PL game??? Motte v Zadok!!

I might be mad but i'm going to keep training Zadok...he better be as good as selling shirts and merchandise as I hope he is at shooting hoops!!
