Sweet...I'm pulling in more merch than the top team in the USA! But then again, I've only averaged 65K this season...

I wonder what the Njords Hakarl pulls in with his USA dominated roster and promotion bonus.

It will be interesting to me to see what effect my homegrown talent will have on my merch if I reach div I, but unfortunately they will not be the highest paid players. It does take extremely long to find the right players and limits the types of offense that can be utilized but I do enjoy having some bonus for the effort and restrictions.

I think we need to convince Yuck to let me win. I've had in the 66k range merchandising the last five weeks (been mostly near 63-64k previously).

Well the Tuesday warmups are complete and nobody got hurt. (I still think you should have surprised CT'd Delta as a tuneup.) Our game should be interesting and competitive as it is the premier SF Matchup. On paper, I feel llike I am the underdog here (especially after last years two blowouts) so I have to figure out what magical strategy to employ as we both head to the playoffs as well. Hmmm, I wonder if I could give Tonya Harding a baton and access to the Arena for your pregame warmups......Naah, you would see it coming a mile a way.....I think my biggest fan on Thursday will be Pappy, cause if I win I have to punt his game on Sat. ..... Best and Good Luck....

But I did surprise CT Delta! However he matched my CT with a CT of his own.

Most interesting possible Cup draw. The Red Conference is basically set. But the Blue's seeding is all up in the air. It could affect every seed from 1 through 7. Not that Delta's losing the #1 seed, but it affects who he might be playing in Round 1.

(especially after last years two blowouts)

True, but you did beat me in the only other serious game we played against each other. Season 25 playoffs. Now that was a close contest. My total on the left, your's on the right.

I know everyone has been holding their breath anxiously waiting to see who locked up the first pick in the upcoming draft...well the suspense is over, and Arizona Officially has the first pick in the draft! This is a very exciting day for our team.....wait, shoot, I forgot...In any other sport or game, the draft is big deal, exciting, potentially a game changer for a franchise...But in BB the draft is a joke, no fun, waste of time and money....wooohooo, we have the first pick! lol Will the second pick we select make the team, or get cut 5 minutes after the draft results appear?

Also, will the first pick you select be such an egregious fouler that it makes him untrainable? And let's not forget, will he be 5/5 Guard that is still untrainable because there aren't minimum skill levels?

There are a lot of reasons why the last time I put money into scouting was Season 13/14 or so. That said, if I knew I was gutting before a season began, I might be too tempted not to scout a little just for shits and giggles.

You'll have the second pick. They actually updated the game manual with this.

Teams with the worst records will have the highest draft picks, so scouting is most important for teams that are at the bottom of the league. But, watch out for forfeits because each one means dropping a place in the pick order.

(Though of course, there's no actual guarantee that BB gets it right.)

Which of course means, there will actually be one really outstanding player that's 18, a 5/5 A+ that actually has good skills. ;)

oh man i hope for jason's sake this is not his fate --

to suffer through eleven weeks of getting whupped, on average by 70 points a game, plus the ignominy of being an NBBA team losing in the first round of the cup, and to a bot team, to boot -- all in the forlorn hope that maybe, just maybe there could be an all-time great lurking among the pond scum, and then to find out because of a unprecedented error that the precious first pick has been lost . . .

truly a season from hell.

Oh that sucks. It shouldn't be that absolute if it only happened once, and the guy who would normally get the 2nd draft pick is several games behind him.

I really don't like the draft system. There are a lot of ways it could be improved. The massive gulf between 18-19 year olds is one thing.

None of this would've happened if Jeremy Jackson was still around.

Speaking of draft blunders, does anyone remember when the Minnesota Vikings actually passed on their 1st round pick? They were too slow, so other teams starting picking ahead of them.
