Driving helps you get good inside shots, I think this is pretty much self-explanatory
IF this game is realistic, then Driving would not just be for getting good inside shots.
For a PG it would also mean the ability to drive towards the basket, in the lane usually,
getting the defense to collapse or double on you, and then kicking it out to a teammate
for a good outside shot. For that matter, it could apply that way to any position, but it
is traditionally a PG thing ala Nash, Paul, etc.
I guess the game is not realistic then.
I´m not sure about this, but i think i remember something about defence shifting focus to cover the larger threat. Kind of if your team only have one scorer the defence will back off from the other players to be ready to help. If there actually is something like this in the game, couldnt driving increase a players threat factor, and in this way reflect the scenario spoken of above?
