And what would be the problem with that? You still have to take care and shift players accordingly to get full training for your young prospects, but it would end this ridiculous minute gambling. Please do not just disagree on anything. It is a constant discussion on that "problem", so I guess the BBs shouldn´t ignore all that.

Yes, there are some reasons to keep it that strictly (48 minutes or you lose training), as managers more often have to decide then between success or training progress. BUT, the annyoing thing with that is, that even when you make your lineup optimised to the training minutes and therefore give up a match sometimes, you still get fooled by your coach´s decisions often enough, especially late in the games. And that just kills the fun, at least on the cup/ friendly matches and as well on all matches where you have a garbage time fourth quarter. So why is it all negative to think about a solution to make it a bit easier to get full training, as you as the manager do not have all the control of played minutes of your trainees.

I remember BB-s saying that they never intended any player playing 48 minutes a game anyway.
It's ment to be like this: you can safly train 2 players one position, 5 players 2 position. You can risk for reward -> trying to train 3 players 1 position or 6 players 2 position. You can't have everything. So it's a gamble for higher gain, so it's working as intended.

I saw this earlier in the thread but it really sucks when you have your coach strictly follow the depth chart but he doesnt follow it... 2 games ago I set my PG to be the starter, backup and reserve, but he only played 46 minutes. and then last game I am 90% sure I had a guy at all 3 SG positions, but he only played 40 minutes... so for my cup game tonight I will have to mix up my roster a little to get everyone their minutes. has anyone else had problems with the coach not strictly following the depth chart?

because you was in blowout area, and have unassigned player on the bench - and the coach takes care that his starter rest in garbage time.

I beleive the same count for your game with the SG, you played with 5 guys without subs to the 4th quarter, and then your two bench players come in replacing the starters randomly because the coach thinks give the good players a break.

That is easily to solve, in just taking starters and backup to the games. So now back to topic.
