that there will be a period with no "trades"


This is true... hwoever there are times when they do server maintenance etc, where, basically the expiry time of a trade is extended out.
so eg: if you had a guy who's sale was going to finish at 3pm and they take the server down for 2 hours, his sale will now finish at 5pm.

So really, thats all they have to do. I used the wrong word when i said 'disabled'... really i just meant 'postpone'.

either way its not a big deal. heck id be happy with something in the game manual that says 'be wary of trades around this time'.... at least its out there.

It can be a very big deal if you listed your player with the view that he will be sold at a time when a lot of users will be on (like 2-3k users)but due to server maintenance, the player instead goes at a time when there are very few uers on (400-500 users)

Unless you delay the lot by 24 hours, teams are gonna be peeved

Is this not what they do now?

When they do server maintenance, don't they delay transfer sale end times?

and if they do, what is the current time they change it by? its never affected me before, so im not really sure how it works.

You're design is good as well.
We both agree on the main thing here - that this kind of honest mistakes should be handled, as this game is not about that.

it is clear on the players page where it says 'Player X was pick #X in season XX draft, by team ABC' If the player had already been draft that year, it would have said Seaon 18 draft.


like I said, it didn't say if/when he was drafted. it was a fault on my part like I said, but I was suggesting that there be something to prevent this from happening in the future, which is why it is in the suggestions not bugs.
