isn't pretty though not tough. It is real tough! Suomi on the road. Pakistan at home. Uruguay on the road. Lietuva at home. Venezuela on the road. Nederland at home.

Pakistan, Uruguay and Venezuela do not scare me too much. Suomi is just an inside oriented team, same with Nederland. Lietuva is good, but not amazing. I was just hoping for more easy games. This is do-able, but hard.

England is lucky ;)

Thanks, I take pride in that victory, but the strategy was suggested by Greerzilla, anyways it was awesome! Not expected at all!

Darn right we are :), start with 5 relatively easy games(jk revo;), before finishing against the Croatians, who are looking for revenge:) sounds fun to me.

Well at the rates our teams are going at, Canada could finish 32nd and England could finish 1st... that would be intersting ;)

I'm not sure I'd like that all... Little too tough for round 1.

Though to be honest Hungary has a pretty good lock on finishing first.

Posted my preliminary ideas for Croatia on the offsite forum, could all members get together and give their opinions, they'd be much appreciated for our first big game in awhile.

And anyone who's not a member and wants to become one join anytime.

With season 19 winding down I've got a couple of announcements to make.

Well all I think that even though we went out of the tournament a bit sooner than we'd hoped we still had a very successful season 19(we've moved all the way up to #18 in the world!), and if early scrimmages are any indication we should be in for a great season 20 as well.

In sadder(for me at least) news I don't think I'll be returning for another term as U21 coach; I think I've had a good run and learned a lot while doing my best for the community, but I think someone else deserves a shot as well.
-I'm actually planning on running for NT coach in season 21, one reason I want to try moving up to NT is because I believe there is a little more training/tactical flexibility at the NT level than the U21 level and I'd like to see if I can use whatever managerial skills I may have to bring success to England on the NT stage.
-I will still be involved with the U21 team as a scout/consultant while I try to familiarize myself with the NT next season.
-I believe a great replacement is ready to step up and take my spot and take England U21 even higher(I'll leave it to them to announce their campaign as I'm not sure it's legal on the forums before elections officially start).

I decided to announce this now so that everyone would have time to prepare for the election.

You'll no doubt be missed as U21 coach, but I'm pretty sure we all would like no better than for you to run England's NT. Once again, congrats on a great season! :)

i have been very surprised at the professionalism and insight you have brought to the U21 manager role as well as securing help from a number of other managers along the way both in terms of training and team/tactics selection.
Im happy for you that the hard work and dedication paid off with a great campaign and it is something that we can all be proud of.
Well done and i hope that you want to carry on at the international level for england because you are a big asset!
