I know it's late in the season but there are more teams selling off or tanking in my division that competing. My team is average but I have never had an easier run in the ABBL.

Only late in the season though, because for a while there, there were 8 great teams and there was no easy wins.

LOL this meltdown in the fourth!

Great defensive choice but most of your shots were jump shots throughout the game. I have played inside iso heaps before and that's a big no no. Doran and Thomas were non factors inside.

The Scullynator is a scary beast to play LI against! Anyway, my poor stamina definitely killed me.

Speaking of tanking, it's not something I'm all-out planning to do. There's wriggle room for me to build a somewhat competitive roster on the salary floor and give myself a shot of staying in the league during the rebuild without costing me too much money...

Some quality games tonight in the conference finals. I honestly thought High School Dropouts would get me tonight, they have a quality, well put together team and are improving with training and age on their side. That injury last game was unfortunate but as we know they have determined more than a few finals in the past.

It was also a great contest on the other side. But I think this is West Coast Eagles finals series to lose. Some amazing players in his side, 4 NT players in the starting lineup. I have gotten the most out of my aging lineup getting a trophy with 34 and 35 year olds, but I need to rebuild.

I see what you're trying to do whitewind. You're trying to downplay the home court to gain a psychological advantage in this battle of wits...

So last night myself and Whitewind (PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVANTAGE INTENSIFIES) discussed how open the MVP award is this season, as we've got 5 teams on a 15+ win record and no huge standout performer amongst them. If I had to make a shortlist however it would come down to;

Ryan McMillan (19-3, 23.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 3.8 APG, 50.6 FG%)
Maverick Parkes (18-4, 20.8 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 3.2 APG, 60.4 FG%)
Kerehi Scully (16-6, 18.2 PPG, 14.1 RPG, 2.5 Blocks, 55.5 FG%)

Couple of other guys like Hamburger and Thomas might have an outside shot at this, but I'd put money on one of the three above players listed taking home the MVP. Which one however is a mystery; I'm going to say Parkes wins by a narrow margin but I really don't know.
