Agreed, in a bot filled league, scouting can be very helpful, because the bots are picking randomly. I have drafted good players, late in the draft when I was in lower divisions with lots of bots.

But in the higher divisions, its much harder. Especially because the weaker teams aren't bots and are looking to the draft to help improve their teams.

go to the conference information on your standing page and look at the manager names.

How would you know if your league has bots?


Under the Big 8 or Great 8, click on Conference Information. Most of the teams will have a Last Seen: 11/11/2008 (or some date similar). If its a Bot, then the field will be absent.
