I guess that big men just teleport themselves from under one basket to under the other and back than. Never giving teammates a chance to pass them a ball somewhereelse than under the basket. Right? LOL. If big men can shoot treys (they do) they can surely drive. Waht is the exact formula in game engine for this is arguable but drives of bog men exist.

# Driving: Allows the player to create his own shot without a good pass from a teammate. Better driving creates shots more often and creates better shots on average.

that was from the rules it amaze me every time what you can find there so i think it is safe to say a center with high driving will be way more effective then a center with low one right?

Get your facts firs then you can distort them as you please. Mark Twain

I wondered about this myself just a short while ago, since then i´ve payed close attention to my games and i´ve become so convinced driving matters for Centers i´m training that exact skill this week.

I know, i forgot to make the post to everyone:-)

Well, up til now i had just been playing like a zombie regarding my PF/Cs. Although i make sure to have some extra skills i havent really been paying attention to what influences what, i was too busy trying to understand my guards better.

Comparing my own trainees i find it suggest that driving matters. The ones with higher levels of driving have higher percentages. Some of the difference i think might be in some players playing weaker opposition as one player contradicts the theory, which of course might cast some doubts on the case.

But still, i feel its worth giving my trainees some driving.

If you have bad passers you might need driving. Everyone looks at his own games and thinks what his team is missing. No need to argue about this.

...with some sort of quantistic effect, I would add!

in fact, that would explain how my C caught a def rebound and 4 seconds after slammed the ball on the other side of the court ;)
