To namssor and Jason- we both know you are qualified, and that you could both handle this job well. My question is besides experience at the NT level or in federations where everyone knows everything about BB, what quality sets you apart from the other? Please no mudslinging. And also, what role would you put the other candidate in should you win?

Individually- Namssor: You have used box and 1 in league games occasionally. Would this be an option ahead of a zone in gameplanning? (which no one answered right. It's the weekends, so that the GS update takes place and you can assess your options. Most would pick Medrano in 9 GS over Bronson in 7 GS. GS is critical at this level)

- I'm a hard worker. Like I've said, I took over a fledgling NT team in New Zealand with no structure whatsoever, and busted my ass to get people involved in the forums with weekly NT threads and training threads and tactics help. I created an offsite forum that is used in the same way we use ours. I sent and answered a million BB-mails involving questions about Game Shape, training regimens, potential caps, and tactics.

- I don't think it's an exclusive option ahead of zone, but it's something worth looking into. I was wondering when someone was gonna ask me about my use of the zones. I've noticed that virtually no one else uses it so last season I thought, hey why not give it a shot and do some test runs? Honestly, through the many times I've used it, I still don't know how effective it is versus a zone. I have to do some advanced metrics or something to measure its effectiveness, but it seems pretty similar to the zone. I don't know how useful it would be at the NT level because I used it since I had one big/guard with higher ID/OD than the rest of my team, which is what the box-and-1 supposedly takes advantage of. With everyone so awesome at the NT level, it seems like it would effectively neuter that advantage.

p.s. I have no clue what you're referring to in your sentences in parentheses.

From what's being said here it seems that the consensus from all the candidates is that a main obsticle to success is the lack of a 18/18/18ish big man. And that such a big man is not likely to be trained in the near future since foreign owners don't want to train the prospects, and USA I.1 is too competative for an owner to take on the financial risk and train such a player.

So, let's say that, without a big dollop of luck, such big men will not be a reality for the team anytime soon. My question to the candidates is,
1) What are the ideal G / SF prototypes to cover/compliment for our existing frontcourt deficiancies?
2) If such players don't exist now, how would you encourage their training by U21 grads or others so that they exist a few seasons down the line?

Group hug!

Candidates, what is your view on giving Half Time speeches? This is likely the most important part of the game. Whenever we get a good halftime speech we usually win!

I was planning on letting Lundy give each halftime speach. He's probably the most literate player we have.

Hello all..I have refrained from speaking much on BuckeyFan01, but it's becoming a little silly. While I don't think he has near the steam to win this election, I would like to remind everyone of how important, and how valuable your vote is. Why would you waste it? Those of us serious about this Election are doing so for the pride of our country, and what this NT means to everyone. You should vote with that in mind. Your vote will decide who is going to be the person in charge of this program for the next 8 months or so, spanning 2 seasons. Thats a long time. A lot of good, or a lot of bad can happen during that time! I know all the new teams thinks its cool to vote for the underdog. And in a lot of situations, that is true, and its fun to root for the the guy not expected to win. In this case though, this position requires like minded thinkers to be able to work together to handle aspects and functions of our National Team. It requires someone who has shown ability to bring people together, and get things done. In this election, you have 2 candidates who offer that. BuckeyeFan01 has provided some great passion, and interest, and he's also given some comic relief. On the other hand, he's also proved to be pretty devisive, & on an island on most of the issues. We need someone who will bring people together, work together, (not threaten to replace staff members before he even knows who he would be replacing) , and in that person we need a guy who fully understands how to run a team.

In me, you have a guy with a track record of NOTHING but success. 5 Championship appearances in 5 seasons. You have a guy who has won games and even championships against much bigger payrolls, proving I understand how to match talent, with tactics. Proving I know how to manage Game Shape, and enthusiasm, and training. My community projects, and putting things together prove my ability to not only work well with others, but to get others to rally behind me as well.

In Namssor you have a guy who has been there done that in every regard.. He's in top division in the USA, has managed an NT team in the past, and served on this current NT Staff in a vital role as Jfarbs assistant. People come to him for advice on a daily basis..

In us, you have two candidates that are an absolute guarantee to continue moving this program in the right direction. In us you have two guys who have such passion for the game, combined with knowledge and understanding to make us effective at whatever BB endeavor we take on.

In BuckeyFan01 none of that is true. POORLY managed game shape on a consistent basis. This would explain why he doesnt just lose so many games, but gets absolutely blown out on occasion. He asked the question several times...How is Namssor and myself more qualified than him? Well, aside from our many accolades, let me show you:

Look at his roster (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/28370/players.aspx) 6, players, no bench. He lacks sufficient understanding how to build a team.

Look at his teams history, (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/28370/history.aspx) Hardly any success there to speak of. 2 seasons ago when he finally did have success and won the championship, he immediately relegated proving he wasn't ready, and didn't know how to build on that brief limited success that he did have.

Look at his Transfers (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/28370/transferhistory.as...) Consistently buys players for a higher prices, sells them for a significant loss less than a month later, also taking a 15-25% hit on agent fees.

Continued............

I am sorry to be so blunt, but this makes it abundantly clear, this super nice, passionate guy is simply not ready for this job. We have pride in our National Teams again, and we have a great group running the show. We need a guy that will continue that. We need a guy who has proven success, not some pledge to be average.

Please don't waste your vote. Vote for me, or vote for Namssor.

Thanks for running, youth break man. Please get involved in the offsite and volunteer to help with NT or something we could use your enthusiasm

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

Now that just hurts that you would TAKE TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO WRITE A TWO POST SPEECH ON HOW I AM A TERRIBLE MANAGER! I had nothing against you until that book on me. I understand this is politics but that is just too far.

If I am such a bad manager, then I am assuming you think I have no chance.... so why waste your time trying to put me down?

I am just like you I want to win the election and I have the right to try to win the election. I am not going to give up because some people say I am not qualified so everyone can stop saying that, I get it I am not qualified in your opinion. You have the right to your opinion and so do the voters. But whatever you can keep giving me low blows.
