Congrats on your first NBBA Championship! Beating two teams on the road, who most believed were the two best teams in the league, is quite impressive!!

@Dwight, how did your scouting go? Did you actually not invest or did you end up finding the 5/5 A+ 18 year old? Very hopeful I end up with that guy.

@Dunkface congrats. Please don't dunk on my face.

Thanks for the congratulations, guys. I wasn't the best team this season, but anyone who makes the playoffs can win it all. Appropriate timing given that March Madness is about to start.

@Dunkface congrats. Please don't dunk on my face.

All smoke and mirrors, my guys are a bunch of prissy little jump shooters.

Yo! Dunkface! Can you get your prissy Arthur "Broken" Glass to sign this for me? He created the Cacti jump shot.

Still haven't figure out a way to defend against it!

I did not invest per the reasons I shared in the discord chat. I have no idea which player is the 5/5 18 year old.

Sure thing. He was right in the middle ofdinner when I gave it to him so he signed it "Glass half full."

Wow, it looks like Wang Yourong got pulled from the MVP ballot after jetting from the league. He would have got that under the old voting system.

Super. So I've got a 47/48 chance at him. Let's hope that works out, it's been a while since I had a quality youth player and a homegrown one will be super fun to work on.

Actual question - when was the last time Register Guard had a player under 30 years old?

Ask Steve Teriyaki...he keeps a spreadsheet on that data.

i certainly can't remember.

when i got to the NBBA, i shared a prejudice with many if not most of the players in the game, then and probably now: avoid players over 32, they were in decline. i sold a couple of good ones at that age and was really pretty astonished to see them go on and have great seasons. (this one in particular: (23927858)

the turning point for me was when i saw how the TL valued players under 32 and those 33 and over. i realized i could not keep up buying NBBA-level players for $4 million -- those prices meant i could only buy a player every third season -- so my choices became, tank or find another way. tanking is NOT an option, as i really think the competition to get to this level is so rough, i'm not sure i could do it again, so i've gone the geriatric route.

i also found a chef who adds a special sauce to the cafeteria food at the Sunrise Senior Living facility where my team resides.
