I wanna know how these guys at the top of that salary list (with $500k+ wages) are managing to stay in the black with Div II gate fees?!

I look at mine I know I can probably add another $100k salary player but any more than that and i'll be broke in no time...

Datz loves his golden oldies, gonna be hard to budge him after letting him get so comfy up there on the ladder. Nice work mate!

Heh, they are not bad to have for short period. I doubt the escargot muncher would make my team any better. We'll have to wait and see when his gameshape is back to normal.

edit: it's escargot not escago lol.

All star roster is out! can't believe my center is starting. Big 8 is doooooooooooooooooooommmmmmeeeeedddddddddd.

Edit: if hemmatti was starting at Center, we might be able to win.

This is no longer True, we won, Big 8 was not doomed lol because we only won by 1 point. My starting center lead in scoring second by my SG off the bench..

Time for me to try and make some money on the run home.

Still in with a good shot at the playoffs, but this is the time to try to get some good wins against the teams battling for the playoff spots, and making sure I don't frop games to teams like the crocs.

No easy games left this season.

The knights are sitting pretty as the stand out team this season, me thinks they may be getting grand ideas of going thriough the season undefeated.

Time to roll the sleves up and get dirty now.

Maybe I should employ my tried and true tactics of injuring players on opposition teams to get an advantage :P

22-0 would be nice but with no bot teams facing auto relegation in ABBL it makes no difference. I just want home court.

Looking forward to our game. I have been in training mode for so many season now, being able to bust out my full lineup is great.

You will beat me like you have been beating everyone this season.

My enthusiasm is still shot, so not expecting any big things, I was lucky to get away with the win against Yarra last time out.

You will go into the final run home with a 15-0 record.

I'm sure a few teams can steal a win or two when Iwen starts TIE'ing every game during the final stretch leading up to the playoffs.
Especially those teams fighting for the 5th spot, they will need every W they can muster.

Having just looked at the table, this is by far the toughest div2 in aus.

great to see my luck continue

playing steves crocs who do have some awesome players but their record suggests some depth issues

my pg and sf both foul out early

they have a redic 37 pt 4th qtr

they go on a unreal burst scoring 14 points in the last 2 minutes while we miss almost everything including missing 6/8 free throws in the last minute and we end up losing the game

one guy that missed both of his free throws is pitiful so i get that but it pisses me off when guys with sensational free throw skill cant make them and we lose because of that - if sensational can miss cant pitiful hit?

i know someone has the biggest smile right now

but there was one highlight for the night, xie my star player pulled a 16.5 rating, i know it may have been inflated but still that is crazy for a sg

goldy - perhaps you underated the crocs a bit? It is the same roster that finished 2nd last season after all.

his gameshape is picking up and he will be a headache for many in the run home. having the NT PG helps - you don't need a deep list when you can pass blokes the ball as well as he can.

Your star player's 16.5 is an excellent rating, but he played 12 minutes - why didn't you play him more? i watched the end of the game and couldn't work out why he didn't come on. obviously you set for 'strictly follow depth chart'. i would say his rating is inflated a fair amount.

the game engine is the game engine. sure, it sucks that a bloke with sensational FT misses 2 for you, but Dirk Nowitzki misses FTs from time to time. i had a bloke with mediocre FT hit 6-6 once. go figure.

you'll be fine. you've got a good list and will have a good shot in playoffs.

yeah maybe the gs issues gave us false hope

we arent going to win this season so training our guys is a priority

we could give xie 48 mins every game and be better off but how would our 18 and 19 year olds get better?

so we just have to suck it up, been a lot of bad beats this season but this season is the end of our current training cycle - next season we will be switching our training a great deal so we will have a lot less of those issues except in weeks where we do js or 1on1

yeah it was set to strictly, it sucks to lose like that, "free throws ha, here is two automatic ones, he is sensational, miss" but then again funny things do happen - remember Nick Anderson "Nick the Brick" missed 4 in a row to give the Rockets the 95 championship - it just seems like these once in a lifetime things seem to happen to us every week :P

wow maggots just sold their entire roster

they now have $5 million but no players

we worked out a while ago that $7 million is a winning d2 team so they were doing really well

unwin and hamilton sold for a fortune each, great players, but the rest not so good

what are they going to do now?
