Didn't BB-Ryan mention in the initial post to be respectful and polite ?

It's funny cause they asked the opinion of the so called "micro nations", and yet every time a manager from a "micro nation" says that he's against this move, he's being insulted and cornered by "macro nation" managers who like to cry out imbalance or by guys who are on board with the change !!

Seems really funny to me that you guys are comfortable pretending to take the high road and sounding all open-minded saying that "you are sorry to live in a world like this and see RACISM, NATIONALISM, and so on", yet treat managers who have an opposing opinion to you like crap !

Somewhere earlier you basically told me that you don't like to play with a manager like me (or managers of my country), I said that that's fine and I don't expect you guys to understand. You're entitled to your opinion. But seems stereotypical and hypocritical that you treat people who don't share your opinion like this.

Since when is Austria a macronation?

Let's check the facts: I was one of the first critics who pointed out that the BBs might come up with some bad ideas to merge countries that don't fit together.

When it comes to WHY those countries don't fit there are many different explanations, in the case of Iran its predominantly religion, language and a violent history with its neighbours. And you said yourself those things will never change. Good luck with progressing your country under those prerequisites.

I have no problem with leaving Iran the way it is, or axing the country and getting rid of it at all. As someone else pointed out, the money made from your community probably isn't worth putting up with the drama. If your contry is isolated there is no risk for other nations - they probably won't miss you.

Well according to BB-Ryan and authorities, Iran counts as a "Micro-nation" as well.

As for those countries, honestly, I can't say anything for sure cause I'm not part of those countries and don't know what goes on in there. Pakistan has no users if I'm not mistaken. U.A.E has around 8. If we are to get a valid evaluation, we must ask directly those people who play in these countries and find out what it is that they want. Are they content with the way things are? If not, what do they propose or suggest?

Of course this is all if things are not decided before hand!! If they want managers input, I think they should conduct a survey from the countries included as "micro-nations" and see what do those managers who are directly affected think.

Obviously, as it is crystal clear in this thread, there are contradictory opinions even among the small nation managers. Some are completely on board with the idea, some are taken aback a little, some like me are completely against the move.

I had quite a long long debate with Trainerman (the guy from Japan) about whether the so called "micro nations" are at an advantage or not. This took place in the thread "Is BB dying a slow death Part 2". Non of us could convince the other and honestly it got a little bit out of hand and I said something which I shouldn't have. Anyway, I said that this is not the case (micro nations having an advantage), while he believes that micro nations have an advantage. I would like to bring my numbers and math here as well, but I think BB-Ryan will deem it irrelevant. I used B3 history of champions to show that while most people believe that managers from small countries have an advantage, the distribution of champions rules out the notion of imbalance.

Perhaps you missed the second part of my sentence.

This is exactly why I don't expect you to understand. You deem things like religion and language worthless it seems. Things that we care a lot about and are proud of. As for the case of violent history with neighbors, I'd like to point out that Iran has never invaded a country or started a war. But there have been issues and tensions between our country and some neighbors. And don't worry about our country's progress, we're doing just fine even with all this "PREREQUISITES" !!!

As for the money, it's up to the authorities to decide whether to put up with the "DRAMA" or not. Even if they decide to remove Iran all together, we would understand that it's a business decision, not a stereotype or hypocrisy that we are so used to by now.

:)

As long as religion and language are reasons not to get along with somebody else, I think they are worthless. This is a game and politics and stuff should have no place in it.

I think Iran as a community could still work, even if you played with nations you do not like.

Removed one sentence.

Well, I can say that I can partially understand your opinion. However, as it was said before, I'm not sure that Iran should be targeted for a change. You have 57 users, you can almost fill the second leagues which is probably minimally acceptable.

But how about those other countries who have trouble filling just one league? or have 5-10 users scattered among second leagues.

The question is would you be open to a common league?(Not NT, or U21 or anything like that)

And perhaps, considering ranking you may win this common league, and get some kind of trophy for being the best team in your country?
