He got injured on Saturday after having played 22 minutes as I said, so he's getting some training. Anyway, I had read somewhere that team training either doesn't take minutes into account, or they're not as important, isn't that so?

Regardless, the guy got injured on Saturday. It is possible that the 1 week injury causes him to miss 5 games (plus half a game he's already missed), however it is very unlikely. You can't be seriously asking me to assume that he'll miss 2 games this week plus an entire week more and plan with that in mind. Yes, if that happens, then it's team training for two weeks, yes, but that wasn't the question.

The question was which one of the two training options you guys think is more effective or useful for a single week's training. It wasn't even that important, I could have tossed a coin. In fact, I think I'll do just that. Thanks for the input.

You're right - injured players will still get full FT or Stamina training (or GS, but that's not really in consideration here). I always look at it like training stamina is sort of temporary - you'll bump it up a little and then it'll drop back down, so I'd consider that as something you do pretty much when you're done with everything else or have no other real options. Training FT provides a permanent increase (at least until skill drops occur) that actually be worth a few points here and there over the course of a season. If you have a lot of players with low stamina and want to play your starters a lot of minutes, of course, you may want to train stamina; if you have good depth or mostly high stamina, or just hate seeing guys shoot low percentages from the FT line, FT would make more sense.

I usually wouldn't train the 22 year old (only all star potential). But I kept him because he was a draft pick at 18.

The 18 year old needs HA/DR/PA. The 20 year old could use some JS and a little JR, but you might be leaving them like that on purpose.

The 18 year old was not my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th choice when I was looking for a rookie to buy the beginning of the season. I just got outbid so many times that I ended up with him. The 20 year old will be a non scorer PF who can defend the perimeter and pass. I will do my finishing touches (bump up outside skills) on the 22 year old next season.

My plan is OD training until they are both at least at 12. Then ID until they are both at 12. Followed by IS to 12. During all this ill be training REB whenever its a 2 game week as I plan on picking up a third trainee at the start of next season. So ill then do IS/ID to 16 and then REB to 15 before just pumping primaries as high as theyll go. I have a level 6 trainer!

Thoughts? Anyone?

Sounds like a good plan. Will you train Oudin's JS?
